I went with Wanda being the "sea witch" in this AU I guess, so that changes the terms and stakes of him turning human in this, but I'm ok with that. I think she would be genuinely wanting to help him, but just had some limitations. I guess he would be taking it as a potion draught instead of it happening immediately and she'd have to tell him "NOT NOW!! You won't be able to breathe underwater anymore!... Get closer to shore first!" and he's like "Oh. Right." He's quite smart, but he can also be dumb af esp when he's just got Bobby on the mind.

I guess in this the conflict would mostly be about trying to get away from their shitty dad and that is also part of why Pietro feels like he needs to get out of there. I drew this before I had more stuff figured out, but that's the general idea. 3 days is not ideal when he knows what he'll have to face coming back to the ocean, but he's also just hoping she can figure out something more long lasting in the meantime. It's gonna be a bit messy when Daddy Magneto/Triton ends up finding out about their treacherous behavior... In this I think the twins will finally fight back and overthrow him and Wanda can get to be in charge of the ocean after lol As a treat.

I am NOT much of an animator and this is technically the 3rd one I've attempted involving X-Men recently, but before that I honestly hadn't seriously tried to animate in over 10 years or something! Either way, this fixation has gotten me to try a lot of things I haven't normally tried and it's kind of nice~

I feel like I'll just keep nitpicking this and never end up posting, so I'll just post what I had and leave it at that. I got the main parts down and I guess that's what matters. I was worried the laugh wouldn't come across very well, but I might have gotten that at least and I'm happy about that!

Anyway, Happy 1st day of Pride everyone! I'll likely be posting gay shit all month and then some of these 2 lol

I decided that the 2 should be able to meet again before Pietro becomes human and that this would actually be the first of many meetings they'd have bc I crave more G/t interactions but also love the dynamic of a classic forbidden friendship (cue the track) and that just felt like a story I'd enjoy getting to play with more~

Anyway, I'm out here making multi paged comics for an AU of an AU as well... Also I probably didn't get the scale super consistent here, but he's a big boy. Probably 80ft or something.

Mermay is almost over, but I will be posting more of this, trust me lol I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Originally, I had the dialogue a bit different and a bit closer to the movie (kinda), but in this version of the story has Bobby realize right away that his rescuer is very much not human bc he's huge af and it startled him awake enough to realize that. But I also ended up changing it that they actually are going to have a lot more meetings after the initial rescue and before Pietro turns human bc I crave bonding in a relationship and them getting to know each other before being able to genuinely say "Daddy, I love him!" lol And also get in more G/t interactions! I would love to see them sharing cultures and getting to know each other that way and the human thing was just a bonus.

I think the circumstances of him becoming human would be a bit different too bc Wanda is the one that helped that happen. I was torn on why the voice thing would still happen, but I thought it might be funny to still keep bc it would drive him crazy and he's normally so sassy and quick-witted, but it might have unfortunately just been a side effect of the potion draught.
