If they had pupils or any other visible eye parts, they would be rolling them. They were used to being questioned about how to shorten their name, but this had to have been the first to think to lengthen it.
"IT IS MORE OF A DESCRIPTOR." They fidget with the spoon in the mug in front of them, twiddling it back and forth. "WX-78 IS FINE. WX OR WEX IF YOU MUST SHORTEN IT. NOT WIX."
Something about the sound of that interpretation of their name grated on them.
They cross one leg over the other on the dining chair, an easy fit for them with their small stature, and rest their cheek on one hand propped by their elbow.
"OILS ARE USEFUL TO LUBRICATE MY INTERNALS AND JOINTS. PRIMARILY I PROCESS ORGANIC MATTER FOR FUEL AND UPKEEP."
As if in demonstration, they raise their cocoa to their mouth and take a small sip. Ah, the simple pleasures of not being stranded in the wilderness.
"MY CHEMICAL ENGINE IS ANALOGOUS TO A STOMACH. CONVENIENT."
He claps politely in awe.
"Wow! that's amazing. Maybe I can cook for you somedays. I make some great spicy curry , though I think there is not enough ingredients in that cold box [refrigerator ] to make even simple curry."
Cooking indian food required too much spices one could not even get in the wilderness. Sure he knows how to make good recipes, and he would like to cook for his new oddly mechanical but not, friend. But ...
He wonders if he has enough money.
"Since we are house mates now, Well...I never had one before. But I can cook and clean every other day."
"AFFIRMATIVE"
They allow the flattery to slide right off of them, under the assumption that it's merely an attempt to placate them.
"I WOULD RATHER I WAS HOUSED WITH FELLOW MACHINES, BUT," they cast a glance at his prosthetic. He was closer to them than many who were flesh and blood, in that way. "YOU WILL HAVE TO DO."
It wasn't all bad, they supposed. They weren't alone in keeping up with household chores or stocking groceries anymore. And, when the urge took them, they would have someone around to yap at about their various interests, and perhaps to stroke their ego.
"DESIGNATION: WX-78. SOULLESS AUTOMATON."
"Well that's a interesting name. Is it WX-78 Soulless Automaton or Just WX-78?" If he has to say the whole thing everytime they meet, he might get a bit confused since it did sound rather English. Or British, and the last thing he needed was British people.
He hates the british. mildly compared to others but still hates them. in a joking way.
"Oh, do you drink any kind of oil? My arm needs to use oil every now and then or it starts creaking loudly, so maybe I can buy some oil you like in the stores next time I go on a grocery run." Imagine the markets again, the people. It would be like being in his old village, expect he's a adult now and someone who is forced to be in a so called civilized city.

[🌟] "You seem very calm, despite the situation. That is very commendable." Promosis dearly hoped that her compliment would ease the stranger even more. Being thrusted into a new dimension was not an easy concept for most to grasp with courage and repose.
"Ah, yes. Unfortunately that is true as well. No one has found a way to leave this world willingly. It happens at random intervals. I am most apologetic.." It wasn't her fault or anything like that, but she felt the need to apologize regardless.
"Oh no, there is nothing either of can do. Well I can do some meditation, but that has never been my strongest skill."
He could medidate to another realm, but it won't connect if he doesn't know exactly where he is. This was much worse then being stuffed in a suit case with a world inside itself.
"I suppose, this is not the worst thing that happened to me. But..."

Promosis placed her hands together in a polite manner as she regarded the stranger with a gentle glance. Her large eyes blinked; similar to how a lizard's might. "Oh. Well..."
She had been new in this world not too long ago, so she could certainly offer this man some assistance. It's what she would want for herself if the roles were reversed!
"You are in Spirale. That is the name of the city. ...It is not the same as your own world. You were taken, I am afraid."
"Another world? my that sounds fanciful. If I didn't use to live in a suit case one before, I would have thought you were joking around. But I believe you."
"I suppose with us being kidnapped in the first place, going back by ourselves...is not a option."
