The thumbnail was bc I needed something Crash-related but didn't want to make an edit after working all day on this. However, now I'm imagining Coco races Metal Sonic on an alien seahorse while Crash holds onto her shoulder and his head.
Once they make it to the elevator, the horse bucks Crash forward to make sure they win the race. Landing on cold steel, he spins on his butt until he's looking back up at the aperture. Cut to a shot from Crash's POV, Coco approaches the ledge as the elevator starts to descend. The scared horse's reins are taut in her hand. "It's up to you! Once you're at the bottom, you shouldn't be far from the control panel! I'll radio you when I ...EEK!! He's coming, Crash!!" She winds up and jumps aside just before Metal Sonic rockets past, avoiding getting sideswiped. Metallix’s eyes are wholly focused on who's continuing to approach his master's lair.
He descends the chasm like a bird of prey, the outstretched left arm joining the right in aiming forward. Chrome talons open, each finger like a knife, gleaming sunset gold and magenta as analog eyes burn in the dark.
"Be careful!!!" Coco screams, just a silhouette peeking over the ledge. Then she shakes her fist and roars, "And FINISH HIM off!!"
Hell yeah.
