The thumbnail was bc I needed something Crash-related but didn't want to make an edit after working all day on this. However, now I'm imagining Coco races Metal Sonic on an alien seahorse while Crash holds onto her shoulder and his head.

Once they make it to the elevator, the horse bucks Crash forward to make sure they win the race. Landing on cold steel, he spins on his butt until he's looking back up at the aperture. Cut to a shot from Crash's POV, Coco approaches the ledge as the elevator starts to descend. The scared horse's reins are taut in her hand. "It's up to you! Once you're at the bottom, you shouldn't be far from the control panel! I'll radio you when I ...EEK!! He's coming, Crash!!" She winds up and jumps aside just before Metal Sonic rockets past, avoiding getting sideswiped. Metallix’s eyes are wholly focused on who's continuing to approach his master's lair.

He descends the chasm like a bird of prey, the outstretched left arm joining the right in aiming forward. Chrome talons open, each finger like a knife, gleaming sunset gold and magenta as analog eyes burn in the dark.

"Be careful!!!" Coco screams, just a silhouette peeking over the ledge. Then she shakes her fist and roars, "And FINISH HIM off!!"

Hell yeah.

Previous drawing || Next drawing After 20 minutes of nonstop snow-facts, Noelle could see Kris (and apparently the snowshovel) starting to freeze into a giant ice-cube. Quickly bringing them inside, she remedies their frozen state. "Here, this should make you feel better, Kris." * Noelle hands them the hot chocolates * As they are blissfully enjoying the best hot-cocoa in all of hometown, Noelle begins to realize the worst... " They weren't even listening to my wonderful, well-thought-out, well-executed, awe-inspiring, speech!!! " Noelle, somewhat defeated and mad, sits trying to make best of the situation, knowing that she might have failed to teach Kris (and that snow-shovel) the joy of the Christmas season... But, she knows that this isn't the last of it; rather, it is just the beginning... In a new perspective, she realized that she had Kris drinking hot-cocoa in December! Yes! That's it! She then remembers the quote by Sun Tzu, "Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win."

She has won. Now, it is time for war...!

Kris and the snow shovel began to look at Noelle confused and concerned, because, for the past 4 minutes, she had been monologuing her plans...out-loud... Noelle froze like a deer looking into headlights. Her face turned redder than a lobster in a sauna, as if embarrassment had just RSVP'd to the party on her cheeks.

Noelle began to monologue about snow, snow facts, and how it's creating the most perfect atmosphere for hometown and also how it's, like, the prettiest color and the best weather, and... and... a- Kris and the snow-shovel stood there for 22 minutes. Noelle promised them hot chocolate after this. (Her own recipe)

Previous Drawing || Next Drawing It's a beautiful cold Saturday morning in hometown- no school, no worries, and plenty of snow to share. Kris had told Susie that Kris found snow-monsters of them near the side of the school. As Susie walks over, she sees her portrait of snow sitting all lumpy on the ground. "Woahh, nice..." she said observing the cold caricature in front of her. But then she noticed the tail on the snow-monster... "HEY!- wait a second!!!" "WHO THE HECK KNOWS ABOUT MY TAI-", stopping abruptly she realized she was yelling out loud. "What tail, I don't know about a tail... pshhh- naw, I don't have a tail..." Susie was paranoid the rest of the day

The first paragraph of the caption is awesome worldbuilding, very cute. Enhances the image. The change to the dialogue in the 2nd paragraph which remove the subtlety I don't quite get. We all know why she's alarmed by the presence of a tail.

A few others in this series do that for some reason, choosing to change the subtext into actual text. Some of the drawings' captions will extend the narrative, also - several times for better! Like, I love December 1st and 2nd's captions. It's a double-edged sword. I don't mind that much when it veers into on-the-nose territory, but a little subtlety goes a long way.

Throwing my bias aside, I do think it's very silly and fun, just in a different way. It's written how my aunt would tell me a story when I was little.

I think the changes to the dialogue in this case are, in a way, putting the vibe of the art itself into words.

Oh me oh my! The gang is going Christmas caroling!!! How jolly! And they're at sans' house.. oh no. Sans and Papyrus find the carolers right at their front door in the middle of singing that figgy-pudding verse.... Papyrus hears and starts to panic, "WE DON'T HAVE ANY FIGGY PUDDING SANS AND THEY'RE NOT GOING TO LEAVE WITHOUT IT- " Sans calmly mentions that he has a large pile of 32,000 figgy-pudding cans sitting in the corner of the room waiting the next set of carolers. Before Papyrus could question, Sans opened the door and gave the 4 outside some puddings each. Berdly, " AH HAH! So this is figgy-pudding /smug face" Kris, " Do you have more " Susie, "HECK YEAH! PUDDING!"

Noelle, " why do you have so much figgy pudding...??? " Sans replies " idk, go figure "

Everyone immediately sighed leaving the spot where they were standing. And, while everyone was fleeing the premises, Papyrus just stood and stared at Sans. " ... " " what, it was funny. " " no, I don't get it..." "hmm, you'll figure it out eventually, heheheheheheh" " WAIT- I GET IT NOW RWAAWHHHHHHHHHH SANNNSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
