Thoughts on Takari after everything that’s happened in Digimon tri

- Hikari has a fat crush on Takeru - I mean it like the crush is so big - I don’t know how Takeru feels honestly he probably doesn’t think she’d ever like him so the thought hasn’t even crossed his mind - He went through a lot in Confession but also in the series in general, let’s not forget that. - Also let’s talk about how Hikari was focused on him the entire movie let’s not forget THAT - The writers are foreshadowing something with them or none of these little teases would be happening - HIKARI ACTUALLY LIKES TAKERU SO MUCH I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS MY 8 YEAR OLD SELF WOULD BE SO AT PEACE IF SHE KNEW THIS WAS HAPPENING

I need your thoughts. Now that Sora has a poster with Taichi and Yamato. Does that now reinforce more than ever that we're getting a Takari movie and do you think they're gonna do it? They're gonna finally make them canon cause the scene in this movie OMG. Not just when he was being protective of her in the Digital World and she was there for him but THE SCENE at the beginning!

(I have yet to see the poster! If anyone could link me that would be wonderful) 

I think they SHOULD make a takari based movie. I don’t just say that because of my shipper soul, but because they have both always had a significant depth to their characters and the fact that their digimon/crests are intertwined. It was a shock to everyone, including the other characters, when they weren’t paired together for dna digivolving. It’s about time they have a special based off of them. Let’s explore that. Also yeah since Sora is paired with taichi and yamato for the next one (another smart choice) it would only make sense to have the 5th one centered on Takeru and Hikari. 

There will definitely be some sort of romantic tension brought to life with them though. They wouldn’t have put in that scene if there wasn’t a greater purpose. Foreshadowing af.

You knnow what would be nice to tie up with 02? Digimon created by humans like Arukennimon and Mummymon. Better yet, make Meicoonmon that digimon as a way to create violent and unstable digimon to turn public opinion on them! It's cliché, but it could work!

I really really love this concept and was thinking about it myself! I think it would be smart and they could go off of it nicely.
