Fashion Model Taka Sporting New Knee Brace in Brand New Annaki Catalog
From INK Fashion News [excerpt]:
Taka, the fashion model hitting the inkstream hard, has a new photo set in an upcoming Annaki clothing catalog wearing a brand-new custom brace in place of his cane. Early viewers of the photoshoot say that the model is looking more confident than ever in his custom hardware. When asked about the origin of his new brace, Taka stated: "I got it from a mechanic in Inkopolis working at Grizzco. They do great work, their name's Mayday. They put me back in the game." Taka also mentioned the possibility of getting back into Turf War: "Can't wait 'til I'm back in fighting shape for Turf War matches...taking a brace into a match is much easier than taking a cane." ...Look out for Taka out on the battlefield and on the streets of Splatsville at this weekend's Summer Nights Splatfest!

anyways, to the point, what got you your big start as a model?

in all honesty i had like, the ideal start. i was gonna go to fashion school but one day at a show i was going to for fun, one of the designers for takoroka (one of the first companies i worked for) saw me and recruited me. he said they were trying to appeal to a younger audience and needed young models to do that, and he thought i looked pretty fresh. one thing led to another and they kept calling me back for shoots, then i got brought on as an official model, then everything just started falling into place.
if anyone's tryna become a model, just know that the way i started is definitely not how most people start. you gotta be willing to put yourself out there, recruit friends to help take pictures and build your portfolio, etc. but aye, i'm more than willing to make recommendations if i think someone is fresh~
