Fuck Mason tbh.

I get that high school is a weird and confusing time, but I don’t get him at all. He started dating Ava because....? She flirted with him? And there’s a huge implication that if MC had intervened he wouldn’t have started the relationship, which just makes him spineless tbh. I really don’t get him.

Also the party game kiss was really weird cause it’s insinuating that as soon as Mason and MC’s lips touched they suddenly couldn’t control themselves? I guess??? I know the whole game is about accidental kisses but I expected a peck, not a good ten seconds of kissing lmao. So yeah MC kind of sucks for that too.

Literally since the game started I’ve been team Noah cause Mason is super possessive of MC while they aren’t dating, and too much of a coward to date someone out of convenience rather than date who he actually likes. So yeah fuck Mason, Noah all the way.

i genuinely don’t see how mc and ava are “best friends”

mc is out here wishing for her best friends relationship to fail, at this point she all but thinks she’s a better choice for mason than her best friend. and ava with her passive aggressive bullshit towards her best friend despite knowing mason/mc are childhood friends.

i hope we get a focus on ava soon bc rn everything we know about her comes from that whiner mason and that’s ridiculous.

I think where PB kind of messed up with My Two First Loves is that while MC gets to slowly fall in love with Noah, it’s just accepted that MC loves Mason, even though the player really has no reason to like him unless they just really like his character design? So we - the players - have to watch MC chase after a guy we don’t give a shit about cause most of the development between them has happened off screen, before the beginning of the game. Yeah there are flashbacks but that’s to when they are literal children. So why should we care about Mason?

If we're supposed to be 'best friends' with Ava but why is that we barely know her, like we don't talk, hang out, or even acknowledge our friendship with her when we're talking to Noah and we only get to say her name when Mason complains about her.

Also the biggest MTFL plot hole is that MC didn’t tell Ava about our crush on Mason. MC doesn’t even explain why. This story would not happen if she had just told her “best friend” lmao
