June Moon had been a freelance artist whose life was changed forever when she stumbled across a hidden relic while investigating an ancient castle.  Her soul became bonded with the spirit of a magical being known as Dzamor.  Along with changing her appearance, June was imbued with magical powers.  She became the Enchantress and battled Supergirl.  She was later recruited into one of the many interactions of The Suicide Squad.  A version of The Enchantress acted as the primary antagonist in The Suicide Squad movie where the character was portrayed by actress, Cara Delevingne.  The Enchantress first appeared in the pages of Strange Adventures #187 (1966).
