Gary didn’t change much since he had last seen him – his style certainly didn’t. Still, he was doing it with such concentration and passion, Robbie couldn’t help but smile faintly. He took a sip of his drink and made a face – some ginger ale wasn’t going to give him the courage he needed.”

Note: It's set in an AU where Take That as a boyband doesn't exist, but as a group of friends. Robbie gets famous independently from the others, and this is partly what causes their argument.
