So, its been well over 3 years since I've used tumblr. A little update: contrary to the time when I was more active, I am out as gay and I now openly love my beautiful girlfriend of nearly 5 years. Back then, we literally couldn't even see eachother. We lied about beign together to everyone in our life. Since then, I left home,lived in my car for a while, went back to therapy, and back to school. Michaela is going to college, and has conquered so much in order to get there. The simple things we do such as holding hand sin public, kissing, going out on dates, being able to talk, were things we could only dream of a short time ago. We were subjected to a lot of manipulation, and we faced intense backlash when people found out about our relationship. I am beyond blessed and proud when I reflect on all we faced to get to where we are today. Although, today's aspects bring upon their own difficulties, I am so lucky to be able to love openly. I am writing this post to remind whoever is reading this, that your life will change for the better. Keep fighting for what you believe in, who you love, how you love, and what you want for YOUR life. Believe in the power you have to change your life, be pateint as change and growth are both prcesses that take time. Don't give up.
