Even is standing in the bathroom at the dorm with wet hair and a white shirt. Isak is standing in front of him and trying to tie his (Evens) tie. Heâs fumbling and doesnât seem that great at tying ties (even tho he, of course, said he was). Even smiles and stretches forward towards the sink to grab his beer. He takes a sip.
Isak: You have to stand still, baby.Â
Even (laughs): Evi?Â
Isak (doesnât understand): evi?
Even: Did you call me evi?Â
Isak: I called you babyÂ
Even (laughs): It sounded like you said evi.Â
Isak: Why would I call you evi?
Even: i donât know, a nickname?Â
Isak (laughs): A nickname? NoâŠ
Isak: (corrects the knot on the tie) Done
Even turns towards the mirror and looks at his tie, he smiles and kisses Isak
Even: Ready for party thenÂ
Isak: (takes a sip of his beer) Ready for 2017
Even: What are your wishes for the new year?Â
Isak: That Trump is deposited
Even: Thatâs kind of an asshole thing to say, considering heâs your uncle
Isak: I know, but heâs kind of an asshole himself, so I think he can handle it. What is your wish?
Even: For you to learn how to tie a tie
Isak: (laughs) Haha. Fuck you.
Even: (smiles and kisses Isak) No, I donât wish for jackshit. Just for everything to stay like they are now.
(Isak smiles and kisses Even)Â

I passed a flower shop next to a tattoo shop and at first I laughed because I thought it was ironic and then i freaked because IMAGINE YOUR OTP IN A FLORIST/TATTOO ARTIST AU

Okay, so the next time we see Armin and/or Jean properly focused on, we should be getting some Jearmin, right? Because thereâs kind of a pattern for them.
Trost arc - they barely interact
Female Titan arc - great interactions
Clash - few interactions until the end, where itâs shippy as hell due to the whole âArmin saves Jean by putting himself in a situation he previously said was suicide, and fends off a titan with a single swordâ thing.
Uprising - JEARMIN CENTRAL
Return - not much (but a really cute - and a bit angsty, considering what follows - moment when Jean tells Armin heâd almost given up.)
Armins hair takes Jeans breath away.

Haha, youâre the first! But I donât think my feelings about Jearmin are a secret xD
1. My take on their canon relationship: I will try not to wax poetic lol. Armin Arlert, top-notch people-watcher and knower-of-inner-truths, misjudges Jean Kirstein. He, like pretty much everyone in the 104th, thinks Jean really is out to save his own skin, and is initially surprised by Jeanâs willingness to risk his own life to save others in both the battle for Trost and the encounter with the Female Titan. Jean, however, has Arminâs numberâhe knows Armin is the sharpest tool in this shed, and (two mix some metaphors) throws his oar in with Armin immediately after joining up with the Survey Corps. To his credit, Armin realizes whatâs up with Jean pretty quicklyâthat Jean is, in fact, quite empathetic and very observant. Theyâre equals who compliment each other in so many ways: Armin is very good at picking up minor details and playing the long game while Jean is better at coming up with strategies on his feet for shorter term solutions; Jean, while more traditionally masculine in appearance, takes care of Arminâs emotional well-being, while Armin, the smaller and more âfeminineâ of the two, performs the thrilling heroics. They work so well together as a team, and when they talk they understand one another, even when they disagree. I could go on, anon, but I think Iâll just refer you to this excellent post instead.

3. Reasons why I do/donât ship them: Ooops, I think I preemptively started answering this question above. ^^â Again, see this post! They have each otherâs backs, they compliment each other, and they always have interesting things to say to each other! Itâs my preferred type of ship!
4. Headcanon, if any: Armin and Jean did a lot of hanging out in the aftermath of the Uprising. Lots of long walks around Historiaâs farm avoiding chores and discussing everything under the sun! :D
