Hey there! I’m Takonei, or just Ako for short! Just a science fella who likes to draw in her 2 minutes of free time.

I draw Bastards of Ethuline, an original story of mine, as well as whatever fandom is currently on my mind.

If I say "I'm gonna post BoE stuff soon" and then I don't, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm lying. It means I'm either :

Planning the entire game project by myself

Drawing assets and concept art I cannot show

Drawing "promotional" stuff/assets that I can actually show

Having my 3rd existential crisis of the week about whether or not my crumbling dreams and passions are worth pursuing or if I should just quit everything I used to love doing because I'll never be good enough

Writing the script and storyboards

Figuring out gameplay aspects and hope it's actually doable and enjoyable

Been a while since I last posted, and I guess I might disappoint some people with this but... I'm leaving the Calamity fandom. Temporarily or for good, I don't know yet.

Right now for me the bad experiences outweigh the good, not much is keeping me here and I'm just tired of it all.

I don't know for sure what I'll do next, I guess this is an opportunity to fully focus on Bastards of Ethuline (original story). I've been working on some stuff for the past couple months that I haven't yet posted.

Stay tuned! This is the project I'm the most excited about, even if I don't show it often ;)

Sorry I haven’t been active or responsive for a bit, a lot of stuff happened and I got overwhelmed by just everything. Right now I do have a lot of confidence issues with my art so I think I’ll take a break from the Calamity gijinka series for a bit.

That doesn’t mean I’m leaving the Calamity fandom, but for a while I’ll probably stick to other stuff, as well as focus on Bastards of Ethuline, a personal project of mine that I’ve been working on for a while now.

My part of a little challenge I did with @fried-shrimp-tempura ! The goal was to turn Calamity bosses into dishes and desserts. I basically used a wheel of fortune to choose lol
