I will say, FR has a pretty good track record for listening to it's users and I foresee them making a lot of changes to the UI as time goes on

I do kind of wish they had implemented a beta test for the UI update though, something you could toggle on and off if you didn't want to participate. I think the fact that they did not do this and instead released a half-finished update you can't opt-out of was not one of their greatest choices. I would have happily taken part in a beta test and I'm sure many others would have too, and maybe there wouldn't have been quite as many issues/complaints

Another PSA: Info before was wrong!

Hello everyone. I just cleared my own plot for the first time. And I can see now that the information from the forum thread wasn’t correct.

You cannot leave an item unclaimed & keep mining! I think this is actually worse because you will be automatically redoing a plot you have cleared already. Especially with familiars who are mostly only useful once this is quite the headache.

So you basically can’t really target anything. Happy digging!

I always find it kinda interesting how Flight Rising decided to handle the problem of 'I don't want to just pick one but how do I design a winter holiday event for my game that includes everyone' by instead going 'Fuck it. Spooky mimic creatures event that covers half of December and includes absolutely zero winter holiday themes. You're welcome.' and imo it Works.
