This is NOT my first rodeo...I just need to move away from all my past tumblrs and restart for this new chapter in my life lol

I have analyzed his character enough to come to the conclusion that people's hatred of him is more often than not unjustified. very rare that i find actually good reasons from someone that doesn't like him.

I promise i got more on the way... i have a backlog of stuff to upload. A lot of my 'good looking' chreon content is just draw-overs that i need to go back and find the og images of... (which should just be in a server i have w irls...wont be too hard)

I think a lot about this piece of Chris info from the novel Resident Evil: The Book originally written by Hiroyuki Ariga... So few actually KNOW this piece of info about him but it makes me sad. This novel takes place BEFORE re1 events.

The book starts off with this:

"Whenever the phone rings in the middle of the night, I know someone's dead who wasn't dead the day before. Happens all the time. Except when it's a wrong number. Like this totally drunk woman who thought I was her long lost lover. Or the idiot who tied up my line with a long monologue in Portuguese."

"I've had this late-night fear of the phone for five years now, ever since a state police chaplain called me at 2am to tell me my parents were dead. Their vacation van had been crushed by a runaway big rig. The coroner had to ID them through dental records, they were mangled so bad."

Chris also states that even though since working for the STARS unit, where he handles lots of violent crimes and rescues, something as minor as a phone call STILL gets him.

It really makes me wonder if in his later years, even after all the horrible BOWs hes had to face, all the bio-terroism, the constant gore, the loss of comrades...brothers in arms.. if hearing the phone ring in the middle of the night still terrifies him? Maybe not as much anymore, but I bet it still triggers something.

He had to grow-up a little faster than he probably wanted to. I mean yeah, he did join the Air Force when he was 17-18, but his parents died when he was 19-20. He 100% had to rush home from where he was stationed to NY, if he wasnt already home, to take care of Claire and make sure she had her big brother with her. He had to take on being more of a parent to Claire rather than a brother real quick because she was only 13-14.

Its a thought that makes me spiral deeper but those are thoughts for another time. Poor chrissy :((
