Talan sighed once to his feet looking at his sister. “I suppose it isn’t,but dad wouldn’t like it and you know that.” He said before moving his hand to wipe at his nose. “But like I also said this is my battle and I can’t have you saving me.”
“Not a twit.” Talan said through gritted teeth as he heard his sister’s voice. He shook his head slightly as she extended her arm to help him up. “Some older guys. I don’t know. I can’t have you fight my battles all the time especially with arrows, Tessa.”
Talan didn’t even know what happened all he knew was he was laying on the ground and his nose was killing him. “He-Help!” he called out hoping someone could hear him.
