Hey this is Goya from @goyastardream ! So I decided to make a Clangen art blog. This is RoseClan, a Clan I've had for since like the spring of 2023 so it's gone through about a hundred moons and a lot of updates!

Set on a remote island archipelago, feral cats have always struggled to maintain a community, until the day that strange spirits lead them to the mountains far from the sea. Separated from other like-minded groups, Pitchstar and his few followers are left alone to create their own Code, carving out their way of life into the stone itself. Feel free to ask the characters and stuff! I'm still setting up things so bear with me lol.

Overview This is a simplistic Clangen playthrough with few restrictions, meaning that the traditional warrior code stuff doesn't really apply (though it might depend on the leader...). As for specific game rules I have mass extinction and pregnancy ignoring biology off, and allowing first cousins or past mentors/apprentices to be mates (bc ew) but everything else is checked!

Warnings for typical WC stuff like blood, gore, animal death, kit death, sickness, violence, animal cruelty, etc. I'm playing on stable version so I don't have access to early dev updates until they're officially released! Also expect delays and infrequent posting, I'm in college and when I'm not my parents love to do family vacations so please keep that in mind. I read Warriors like in middle school and maybe late elementary school so forgive me if I'm a little rusty on the lore. On my main blog I really like doing sci-fi fantasy stuff but tbh the obsessions you have when you're 13 never leave you I guess. Anyways I like writing and this is a fun game! So uh meet some of NovaClan

These are the alien sparklecats I was talking about and who I really wanna draw and stuff but clangen's dev/source stuff is confusing as hell and kicking my ass every time I try to reinstall the appropriate mods lol

Yes I was in the middle of drawing them when stuff updated and they were turned back into normal cats a few months ago😭

So rn I'm debating on whether I should move them into a dev version without the scripts folder (so no numerous pretty eye colors) or try and continue working with the source version that no longer wants to be launched using Python

Anyways tldr I'm still trying to fix this issue lmao. The cats are Nebulastar (pink), Atomglint (purple) and Fermislash (green), who are leader, deputy and medicine cat respectfully.

Hello y'all, so sorry I've been MIA for a bit, I was studying abroad for a while over the summer (in England, I believe I said this on here but just in case I didn't), dealing with an ADHD diagnosis + meds and now school has started again😅😅

BUT I am still planning out all my clangen stuff/am going to continue the blog, sorry for the delay! I'm also thinking about including multiple different clangen playthroughs on here too.

I've also been working on and improving how I draw cats, which can be seen above plus on my main art blog @goyastardream

I'm still technically on a hiatus (mainly for here and YouTube lol, my own fault for trying to do so much at once), but am still here ofc.

At the moment besides juggling schoolwork, I'm scripting a lot of RoseClan stuff (a lot of the early moons I didn't document well lol, so will be taking some writing liberties), plus also working on a space-themed/sparklecat clangen run!

I am also considering drawing some stuff from Wingedgen, Genemod, Megamerge, etc. See y'all soon!

I've been struggling with where I want to take RoseClan artistically and have been having a rough time since I'm so slow at drawing in the first place lol, but expect some more content soon!

There may be irregular breaks in between updates, but I'm not cancelling this project!

Goods news is that I think I've gotten it all down, and earlier I was hesitating since I didn't know how to go about drawing these comics/moon updates, so hopefully things will go faster now!

I also don't want the Moon 0 comic to be too long so there might be some lore briefly thrown out that I can explain in more depth outside of the story or later lol

Hey y'all sorry for the delay, I had my very short Thanksgiving Break and spent a while driving between cities lol. But hey just two more weeks of this semester then I have like a month of Christmas Break.

Here's a sneak peek for page 2 of the introductory comic, featuring Patchy and Badger, who we'll get to know pretty well soon :]

I'm also making this post in celebration for the new update for Stable, which I will be updating RoseClan to! Super stoked about that

I'll have an easier time writing in outsider characters post Moon 140 for sure since they can naturally generate now, and I'll actually have a real RoseClan Clan symbol for y'all soon!

Moon 0 || Part 1

We're officially beginning! On an island like the one Softpaws lives on, flooding is a pretty frequent occurrence, though one this bad hasn't happened for a long time.

She was traveling with a larger group intent on migrating to the mountains, though things happen.

Backgrounds are probably gonna be pretty simple as I don't want to spend forever on them lol, but expect my style to acclimate as I get used to drawing these comics!

And yeah the quality is kinda low thanks Tumblr, will probably use more pixels for the next pages lol.

A bit of a teaser for all of the Moon 0 shenanigans, which is gonna go over the backstories of pretty much everyone in brief and how they established their Clan.

Here’s Quietstep running from something (I’ve decided her loner name is Softpaws, and she was given that + her warrior name due to her grace and soundless paw steps). It’s a natural disaster and not a cat threat though lol.

Loudclan - Moon 29: Part 3

Things are gonna get a bit darker than they have been in the second half of this moon. Be warned and check the tags! Happy Spooky Season!

The sun is ever-present in the summer sky. It sits vigil alongside the clan. Soon after the bodies arrive at camp a patrol sets out to track the rogues, but finding that they have already crossed Shadedclan's territory, it is decided that the opportunity for revenge has passed. They'll double patrols and wait to see if the murders try to cross the territory on their way home. Many are upset, but few argue. As the sky begins to lose it's duskiness, the vigil is ended, the bodies buried, and the clan cats left to filter back into camp at their own pace. Wildfirecry excuses himself to clear his head, while Dashpaw attempts to bridge the gap with the only brother he has left.

Seeing Rosehiptree will be left alone in the burial place, Songpaw decides to stay for a while.

It takes Wildfirecry three days to find the farm cats.

There are Forestclan traditions that were never passed on to Loudclan. Rites that were deemed too dark to touch the newborn clan and thus were cast aside. But here, miles past the valley territories, they live on.

Wildfirecry returns to Loudclan's camp a week after the vigil having lost two lives. No one questions where he has been. The scent of rancid dried blood still lingers despite a fresh coat of oil, and his wounds, while closed, are unmistakably fresh. The clan returns to an uneasy normalcy.

[Whoo! I did it! This moon was INCREDIBLY hard for me. The first part relies so much on my dialogue skills, which, is the part of comic-making that comes least easily to me, and the second part is super experimental, which was so much fun, but also mentally tiring. (On that note please let me know if it's like impossible to see. I meant for it to be a bit difficult to make out, but it's hard to gage between my ipad and my laptop whether it will be readable for all of you. I can fiddle with the color grading tomorrow if necessary.) And finally, Rosehip's experience here is really, really close to my heart. That means that her scenes here are ones that I really wanted to write, but also that I had to take a couple of breaks to make sure that I wasn't wearing myself down too much, so sorry that it took longer than I thought and I haven't been able to answer as many asks as I had hoped to. Anyway, despite early difficulty I had a GREAT time finishing this moon up and I'm happy with how it turned out! Songpaw and Rosehiptree are keeping the trauma dump to best friends pipeline alive and I love them for it. Erminekit is kinda being a brat but he really just wants to be there for his best friend and everyone is getting in the way! He doesn't really get the concept of "giving someone space". As far as Moon 30 I have a science class that I'd like to get finished by the end of the month, so it will probably be a minute. Hope you guys enjoy!]

Ok last one bc bro has a simple design

This is the last member/founder of RoseClan, Honeystone. He's technically still a warrior when the Clan starts out but he's already old so my brain cataloged him as an elder, which is why he's bringing up the rear lol

Despite his looks, he's a more than stalwart defender of the Clan and his clanmates, though old age does catch up to him and he ends up retiring

Bluekit is the only kitten in the group, although he likes to think of himself as one of the apprentices. It's unknown where he's from, but Cicadapaw claims to have found him abandoned and took care of him before Bushpaw also showed up.

He's very impatient for his apprentice ceremony.

Sorry about the delay again, I took a break for my birthday and I got both my flu and covid shot yesterday so I'm feeling pretty crappy lol Here's a girl with a backstory, Bushpaw! She's the only other apprentice besides Cicadapaw for now until Bluekit gets older. She was the last to join their group of three after she fled her own home.

She'll always been grateful for their helping her, but she's reserved and shy due to what happened to her.

Here's our first apprentice out of three, Cicadapaw! He may be a dumb teenager right now, but he knows he's destined for great things...maybe.

As the oldest of the apprentices, he tends to act like their leader, and the three of them lived alone for a while before being found by the older cats. They're all orphans.

Sorry for the slight delay again school has been kicking my ass lmao, about midway through this semester. Also that should say "careful listener" but I really can't be bothered to go back and fix that💀
