Disneyland, Anaheim, California - 3/30
Sums up their personalities pretty well.
Eddy: I can achieve anything Edd: there’s a logical way to achieve what I want Ed: there’s nothing standing in my way
Eddy hopping over the fence indicates his willingness to “cheat” the system, or to take a shortcut. Much like his schemes, it might end up being more work, but in his mind, cheating is the best way to get ahead. Edd goes the neat and logical way, he’s straight forward. BUT, note that he closes the gate behind him rather than leaving it open. He’s incredibly meticulous and even if it’s more convenient to leave it open for anyone coming in behind him, he has to leave things neat, tidy and as he found them. Ed is also is straight forward, he in fact is using the MOST direct route. But this route is one no one else would consider because it seems completely nonsensical. Which sums him up pretty well. The fact that it works for him is also fun to note. In general his earnestness and determination carries him through situations that most people would be stopped by.
I honestly never thought I’d see a critical analysis of Ed, Edd, and Eddy
They don’t give up so easily nowadays

The House on Cliff
On Hollywood Ending’s last show at iPlay America, Freehold, NJ, we watched The House on Cliff perform (and kill it). This classic-rock band originated in Boston, Massachusetts but currently resides on the road. It’s refreshing to find a group of people who are in their early 20s/late teens playing this kind of music. These boys are legit, to quote Fall Out Boy, “only plugged in to save rock & roll.” The amount of animation they put into a performance definitely rushes throughout the crowd. The powerful vocals, the tenacious guitar, the immense beats in the drums and the the bass that vibrates through the pillars of the venue; it’s intense. They, in the best possible way I could describe them, are vintage (even though they’re only 18-21 years old.) Their passion is what makes their performance, for lack of a better word, attractive. I mean that in a “they look good and I really feel their drive for music; their love for performing” way. Anyone of any age can listen to them because their tracks are real “banGerz.” We were so glad to get their story.

Chad Michael Jervis,20 Lead Singer ( @chadmjervis)
William Santana (Bill), 18 Bass/Trombone ( @billiamkory)
Marc Polit, 21 Drums ( @GoobPolit)
Charles Coleman, 20 Guitar/Harmonica ( @scharlescoleman)
When was the band formed? Chad: Originally 2 years ago, but this line up has been around for 10 months now.
How is the Stand Up Tour going so far? Charles: Excellent!
Bill: Its a BanGer!…Make sure you get the G in there.
Chad: There’s lots of cool people.
I love that you have a 70´s classic rock style, what inspires you to do that? Bill: Rock n Roll bands
Marc: Led Zepplin, ACDC, Guns and Roses.
Chad: The thing is everyone thinks of it as dad rock. There’s a reason why it was so popular and still is. Its a genre that makes you feel strong.
Charles: Do what you believe. I got really inspired by the Kendrick Lamar interview.
How is the writing process going? Are you working on an EP? Charles: Great! We´re actually recording our EP when we get back to Boston.
What is your dream band to perform with? Bill: The 1986 Guns and Roses
Charles: Queen at Wembley
Chad: Bruce Springsteen with Clarence
Marc: Foo Fighters
Whats your story? Chad: I’m just a kid from Delaware who grew up loving music and theater. Music has always been a part of my life, its always been present. I went to college for this, but then dropped out because I wasn’t really getting any experience from it. I’m someone who would die for music. I had good parents, listening to good music and had good teachers as well. I’m just a kid who fell in love with music.
Bill: There was 9 year old Bill, wondering about his grandpa. I found out that he was a bassist and also found one of his bass´ in his closet. I played it. I´ve loved Rock n Roll ever since. I love to just take it all in, the culture behind it, everything is beautiful which I feel is a weird word to describe Rock n Roll but that’s how I feel about it.
Charles: Hi, I first started playing the electric guitar when I was 10 years old. I was influenced by Led Zepplin. So when I was 12 my uncle got me tickets to see Zepplin. Ever since then this is what I´ve wanted to do. *”Don´t mind him…hes looking at polar bears”, says pointing to Marc.*
Marc: I was born in Washington DC, then I moved to France when I was 6 years old. I woke up backstage and these guys asked me to play with them and that’s it. But seriously my dad is a guitar player. He bought me a drum kit when I was 3 years old and I began to play along to the Beach Boys. I grew up in France and played with some bands there. I applied to a music school in London but before even starting I made the decision of applying to Berkelee in Boston. I wasn’t happy though and I was failing so I dropped out after three semesters. I saw these guys play and Charles asked me to join which made my decision of dropping out of college a bit easier, so I passed the audition and I’ve been here ever since.
