I really just want to understand the complete 180 that Naruto did in the last few chapters. Like how tf did Sakura who literally had entire development arcs to get over Sasuke and actually focus on what and who makes her happy (Naruto) to then become a basic bitch and basically throw Naruto away, not even thanking him for all he’s done for her specifically. Her feelings for Sasuke will always be superficial, he never cared for her feelings nor did she for him. Only when it came to appeasement or lack of a better term becoming a housewife. It can be said for Hinata due to the fact she never truly knew Naruto, she always watched far away and only saw what she wanted to see in that moment. And she did ask him. The major problem with how the ending changed Naruto and really why I have a huge beef with it, is due to how Naruto as a character let go of his few goals in life, I mean he missed his coronation, and he never got the one girl in his life he loved to love him back even though they both loved eachother in a romantic way, like everyone saw it, I think only sai, kakashi, Sasuke, and kakashi are the only ones to actually comment on the relationship between Naruto and Sakura.

And now we see Naruto a depressed piece of his once great self, being only in his early 30s on the verge of depression and drinking habits. That may be due to his job, but remember Naruto only became like this with Hinata by his side, whenever Sakura is there he would perk up . What I’m saying is Naruto is clearly not happy with who he ended up with, and I don’t think Japan is either.
