Man, I miss Stormy. :C
I enjoyed it. Alas, time is lacking
Headcanon: Unbeknownst to Stormy, her prodigious powers of pulchritude have spawned a variety of myths and legends in her wake. Two isolated zebra herds, for example, both tell of the Mare of Iron (Thighs.) Interestingly, one herd tells of this mysterious mare as a beguiler and punisher of the sinful and uncontrollable, exacting revenge in apt metaphor. The other speaks of a mare rewarding their strongest craftsmen and bravest warriors, testing their legendary stamina.
Hehhe, if only I could credit myself with being so memorable
Headcanon: Despite the awkwardness she experienced as a filly and some socially awkward situations due to her size, Stormfront has had dreams where she was even larger - and she enjoyed them.
Stormy has reached a point over the years where she's comfortable, and fond, of her size, despite the lingering social problems it presents. I'm sure she's had plenty of size play fantasies on both side of the scale, but there's a shortage of larger partners out there for her already, I don't know if she'd wanna push that ratio even smaller XD
How about a Diamond Dog? Everyone seems to forget about them. Do they have knots like everypony seems to think?
They do! and in rather exotic shapes. I’ve talked about them a bit before, here
So, with Kirins being half dragon, is it usually the male or female parent that's the pony?
I don’t have the biggest selection sample to really answer that with. Kirins are around, there are plenty of them in trottingham, but they’re not “common,” and I don’t know many of them enough to really ask about their parentage. Usuuuuually, though, the pony is female. baby kirins born of dragons don’t have a high survival rate. Only those born of a pegasus pony father will have wings, so 2 out of 3 end up not being able to keep up with the mother in most situations. Those that do survive are usually born of flightless dragons. Their father will usually end up taking them to live with ponies after a while. It’s just easier.
Dragons, for all their social faults, actually don’t evade their hybrid children as much as you might think they do. In most cases I’ve heard where the pony parent and child live fairly close to the dragonlands, they will visit, or spend time in both locations. It’s no doubt a very interesting childhood, as most of us don’t get to cross that line very often.
Inter-species snusnu, hmm. . . How about a Roc?
There’s a risky partner. Hardest part about that is finding the things without them assuming you’re there to attack them. For something so large, they’re remarkably difficult to locate. It’s the feathers: they can change colored to look like the mountainside. their scale is so large that they can curl up in their nests with their wings spread at different angles and look for all the world like part of the cliff face. There have been lots of Roc attacks associated with ponies that were setting hooks in a cliff-face to climb and accidentally shoved one right into a sleeping Roc. They don’t usually end well.
Assuming you get on one’s goodside (and that’s no small task, they’re not inherently trusting critters) you’ve got a fun adventure in scale to work with. They’re big. I’ve seen them fish small whales out of the ocean. Somehow, you’re going to have to find a way to work with that. Don’t panic, though. It’s amazing what an attentive touch and a little perseverance can accomplish. Use your body, though. Move around, let them see you. I sometimes say unicorns have an advantage when it comes to oversized partners because of the magic element, but it won’t help you here. Roc’s are smart, but it’s in a predatory sort of way, not a sapient sort of way. If they’re being touched but can’t tell what’s doing the touching because you’re using magic and not moving, they’ll get worried. If they see the magic but don’t feel anything because they haven't been properly ‘warmed up,” they’ll assume their under attack. Neither of these are good for you. It’s a long way down.
Are seapony tongues different and What's the best way to pick up one?
They’re pretty close to ours, really. There’s a rumor floating around right now about them being proportionately longer and stronger because they catch live fish, but I can’t say I’ve seen definitive proof of that. Kelpies make for really great first-time ventures into exotic partnership. They have a lot of similar equipment but very different bodies, so you get a mix of “this is new” and “I know what to do with this.” I used to recommend griffons for that, but now that the kelpies are around, I typically point ponies toward the coastline.
I’m always a proponent of honesty when it comes to “picking up” someone. I’ve talked about it before, so I won’t go too far into it now, but in general, you’re going to be much better off if both you and your partner go into something knowing exactly why they’re there. Saves on embarrassing mistakes and awkward apologies, for one. But if you’re looking to increase your chances, Kelpies are a pretty good choice. They only come up on shore when they want to mingle with ponies, and if you head to some exciting beach-side locale with music and light and a lot of close mingling, a pretty good portion of the population there is looking for company. It’s why they showed up to begin with.
So buy a drink, start up a conversation, and see where the night takes you. It might take you nowhere. Such is life. But there are plenty of kelpies who are hoping to land an exotic partner for stories of their own.
How're Griffons? Oral seems confusing - are their beaks still viable for oral sex, or is it too sharp?
Heheh, Yeah, that’s a tricky one. Anytime you get personal with a different species you’re going to run into a few physical hangups. Beaks actually aren't as bad as you might think, but they do require a bit of a different approach.
Speaking from the female side of the equation, I can only pass on stories about the male end, but I actually think they have an easier time of it than we do. For a girl pony, there’s a limited number of areas you can really put the beak down there that wont result in an uncomfortable poking. With a little care in application though, this really isn’t a big deal. it’s not like they need to dig into your like a can opener or anything. If you’re worried, lie on your back and rest a folded towel on your pelvis so they can brace the top of their beak against it. That will let them get a little more head action in without poking you too hard.
If you’re a guy (and the griffon has a little experience) you’ll be fine. the back part of the beak is actually quite soft, so if you go in sideways or they just keep their mouth open, you’re not going to run into anything painful. Deepthroat is actually a bit of a sexual bragging-rights thing among a lot of griffons. I mean, to a degree, it’s true of us, too, but for them there’s a genuine need to keep your mouth open during vigorous activity.
What do you do to prevent pregnancy? Like is there a spell? A potion? Maybe your lightening powered womb shocks all the sperm before it reaches your womb so it can't merge with the egg?

[[In the show, obviously certain pony parts (or creature parts in general) are not visible. Some people theorize that there is an inherit ability to hide parts or a chant or mantra ponies use to hide when the situation is appropriate, and that the "parts" don't become visible, until the pony is VERY aroused, or they do the same chant/ability again. Is this possible in your story blog, or does every creature have constantly visible genitalia?]]
I went with the visible option. Most modesty is a factor of body language and social training
RE: Breeding season. I can see this having an effect. No not the wild mass orgies in public. Just more risky behavior. Guys showing off their skills at almost getting killed but not quite to impress the ladies. Ladies dressing a bit more seductive and flirting a bit more. Kinda like teenagers hit by hormones. They are smart enough, and in a society that is good enough, but still do dumb things to attract a mate.
thing is, there isn’t a need for that. Ponies are people, people can just DO that. it doesn't need to be compelled, it can be a conscious decision. I personally find that more interesting.
Something I was wondering, how do you deal with breeding season? I imagine being on the road makes it more difficult.
Im afraid this canon does not include a “breeding season.”
What about ponies? Are there any differences among the three?
Oh man, that’s a subject of hot social debate among the canterlot elite. It’s also one of the few times I have fun at frill and pomp events. Nothing gets a pony to show their true colors quite like a slightly inebriated debate over which breed has the nicest cock.
I mean it. You’d never guess it from a casual glance, but well-to-do socialites are some of the saltiest deviants you’ll ever meet. They just need the right trigger to get on the topic. Hours of hilarious and heated debate can be triggered by something as simple as “you know what they say about earth stallion ‘tools,’” and as long as you’re not citing precedent (and booze is around as an excuse) it’s all considered quite forgivable. You just want to make sure you don’t name names or implicate yourself in any way. Talk about tropes and broad generalizations, not specific ponies. ponies remember specific ponies. Such are the rules of proper improper behavior among the nose-up societies.
The realities is we’re are more or less built off the same anatomical model, we just vary in size from pony to pony. But if you’re going off the “ideal body” for your breed, they do tend to look for different aspects. Earth ponies are generally considered larger and more blunt in their application. Pegasus ponies are usually thought of as lighter and more energetic. Unicorns are generally judged by their skill with their horn, which is considered part of their sexual toolkit. Sloppy telekinesis actually reflects poorly from a social standpoint on a unicorn’s prowess in bed.
What do you think led to the development of the three tribes? It seems pretty incredible.
I’m pretty reserved on the subject. There’s no real proof that there was ever “one” pony. We don’t have any historical records of an age where there was only a single breed. We have a lot that TALK about one breed, but they’re all from isolated areas where diversity probably wouldn’t have existed anyway. There were certainly periods in our past where the three pony groups didn’t coexist, but everything I’ve ever seen that points to them not existing at all has been speculation or legend. Honestly, I kind of hope we never find out. Ponies are heavily steeped in the pride of their heritage. I actually don’t think it would help us as a whole to find out one third of us predated the others by any significant fashion. Undo importance would be attached to it. Even if it is true, it hasn’t been the case since before the Windigo blizzard.
But for my two bits, I think the Kelpies came first and we all sprang from them. They’re the oldest unified pony faction and their records go back much further than ours. Unfortunately, they have a habit of re-writing history to suit their needs, so even if they did have a record of a splitting event, I’m not sure it could be trusted.
