LIKE MOST YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, I DESPERATELY NEED MONEY FOR RENT, UPCOMING HOLIDAY SEASONS, & THE REST OF MY LIFE. I’ve been intending to insert myself into a freelance design career for awhile, and though I’ve yet to do so “professionally,” I am eager to test the waters with my favorite hobby—the Tumblr roleplay community.

Below are descriptions of what I offer. Prices depend on the complexity of what I will be creating for you. I may be able to predict what the exact price will be before I start designing, but that is subject to change within the given range.

THEME GRAPHIC: $10-20   My theme graphics consist of an image (can be fanart with permission, your original artwork, or official franchise images) that are edited to fit the aesthetic you want / leave me to interpret. Your URL and any other text you want incorporated into it will be included as well.

THEME GRAPHIC + CODING: $20-35   You will get the kind of graphic described above, plus the coding to go with it. I use a code made by me from scratch and I will edit it to your liking however obscurely. Contained themes are what I make for myself, but I will take it out of the box for you if you prefer.

THEME CODING: $10-20   Do you already have a theme graphic and just need some coding? No problem, I’ll work with whatever image you already have! The same description as above applies. Need more theme examples? Ask me!

PROMO/MOBILE BANNER: $10-15   Includes the same elements as a theme graphic, just typically simpler and/or not intended to fit a whole page. I can make a promo, mobile banner, or graphic that acts as both. The latter two will be a specific size. Promo graphics alone may come out larger in height. MORE EXAMPLES ››

ICON PSD: $3 (+ $1 per 10 icons)   This is what makes icons appear uniform and unique to a blog. Despite my examples I’ll create any effect or add-on you ask for, and I’ll make them any shape or size you prefer. The multiple icon-making can be left up to you, or to me for an additional cost. “I was thinking about that, actually. I can’t really call you my Tallest, right? You’re not really mine. I figured that was kinda reserved for Irkens.” Obviously, that gave her an excuse to call the Irken leader whatever she wanted. That, and she was never good at remembering to use titles when addressing people. Finn always said those were useless, a reminder of someone’s power over you.

          She had a point, actually. Red blinked with subtle surprise just before his eyes squinted into a glare. ❛❛News flash, the Irken Empire rules over your planet and your people now. That includes you, you know.❜❜

          It was like this stupid little Vortian thought she was the exception to everything. In a way she was, really. It was clear to Red she was unlike the rest. She was like the Vortian equivalent of a defective Irken, but she was a Vortian nonetheless and should be treated as such.

Something that hadn’t changed since his stay on Earth was Zim’s attitude towards periods of inactivity. What some may have considered relaxing, or a peaceful break in the hecticness of his average day to day life, the small irken instead found unbearably and incontestably dull. So it was no surprise that, when the first signs of life began registering once again on his radar, it had come as more than a relief.

That–

That didn’t last long. 

Glaring at the Irken insignia now projected up onto the screen in front of him, Zim waited, hand pressed against the side of his face, for the transferring call to reconnect. Apparently it was now a requirement that any unregistered ship flying through Armada airspace report in to identify themselves, lest they be… well… blasted into the next dimension. 

Ugh. Talking to the Tallest was not on his to-do list for the day– something that, a year ago, would have been absolutely mind boggling for him to conceive. 

Meh. Whatever. 

He supposed he might as well get it over with. 

The call connected.

          ❛❛We’ve detected another unidentified ship, my Tallest,❜❜ one of the Massive’s many Navigators announced to his leaders. ❛❛Are you ready for transmission?❜❜

          ❛❛Yes, go ahead,❜❜ the Almighty Tallest Red permitted boredly as he sat beside his co-ruler with a soda in hand.

          This was the Navigator’s cue to contact the ship in question. As this was done, the insignia of the Irken Armada took up the giant screen before them, and an answer from their airspace's guest was awaited.

          Red nearly choked on his soda as soon as the call connected to reveal who was on the other end. He thought they had actually seen the last of him before. Of course, that was always a foolish idea.

“Red, Red, come on.” She spoke his name so casually, as if he were just some random coworker or friend and not the famous Irken ruler. “Salt brings out the flavor that’s already in the food! The more salt the more flavor!” Huge blocks of salt did sound tasty though.

          ❛❛Look. There’s a point where so much salt becomes too much salt... And are you really incapable of addressing me the way an Almighty Tallest should be addressed?❜❜ He’d already asked her a variation of that question several times. And just like every other time, he’d do nothing about the issue.

It was getting to the point where she was almost unaware to whom she was speaking.

It was always somewhere in the back of her mind, sure. And maybe at first she handled her words with a certain level of care. However, this wasn’t exactly something Hal could keep up. With the famous, out-of-control motor mouth she was known for, it was hard too.

The Tallests were told of her engineering abilities as almost an afterthought to how much trouble she was. Yes she’d increased productivity, but at the cost of every single guard’s sanity. They were happy to be rid of her in spite of this. She’d go to the Massive, help them or maybe not, say the wrong thing, be executed. 

They were so different in person.

Hal liked people. She didn’t understand them, but she liked them, warts and all. She basked in people’s flaws, she pushed their limits. She could bring out the best or worst in them. And when people defied her expectations, they became fascinating.

Red was… complicated. He was patient, pragmatic, he’d probably be a diplomat on Vort. Someone who spoke with a certain sense of integrity no matter what horrible thing he was saying. It didn’t take Hal too long to find out why she liked him.

…he was just like Finn.

How she could draw a parallel between an Almighty Tallest and her anarchist, drug-dealing brother was odd to think about. But it was there. And it made things complicated. Because if there were ever a time where Hal should feel bitterness it was now, and she still couldn’t.

She annoyed him, talked his nonexistent ears off about snacks and video games. About idiotic TV Shows and someone named ‘Nicki Minaj’. She blasted music while she worked loud enough to echo throughout the Massive. She made him lose his temper more times than he or she could probably count.

And yet somehow… she never got the impression he hated her.

And maybe it was somewhat refreshing to have someone who didn’t salute in his presence, a flowery starchild in a place she didn’t belong and if that wasn’t the story of her life.

He did his job, she did her’s. They knew the game.

And occasionally, they would look over their shoulder at the other when one wasn’t paying attention, wondering what was going on in their head.

But saying nothing.

Strangely enough, however, he proceeded to answer her question anyway—and then some, as if it was her business to receive an update on intergalactic affairs. ❛❛I forgot how hostile the Florpian queen is. She thinks it's courteous to attack the other leaders she meets with face to face. I can't wait for Invader Klep to give us the okay for an organic sweep.❜❜

Ok let’s face it, the Tallest needed an upgrade from my last attempt at portraying their majesty and grandeur. Now they look cool and intimidating and not like two doofy, irresponsible teenagers in charge of the whole universe. Don’t let the picture fool you, I don’t think they’ve matured much since last we saw them.
