David felt his annoyance flare back up as she mentioned Voldemort. The fact that she was mentioning something like that so casually left a bad taste in his mouth. âTalk like that is dangerous, Tamara. As someone who was here when that was happening, it wasnât just half-bloods and muggle-borns that suffered.â He paused, taking a deep breath. âIâd be cautious if I were you and consider what you stand to lose if this is the path you want to continue down.â He gave her a tense look before glancing back to Emma. After a moment, he looked back at Tamara. âBut who am I to offer advice, obviously you would know more than someone who lived through the war.â He held up his hands in surrender, vocalizing how flawed her logic was sounding to others.
Tamara crossed her arms and rolled her eyes as David spoke. âYou donât know anything about me. You donât know what Iâve been through.â She was tired of being lectured by a Muggle-born professor and knew that if she didnât back down now, Tamara would have acted out against him. âI know where I stand.â
