That’s a Waffle Wrap!
And that’s a wrap on another 30 episodes of ‘Waffle the Wonder Dog!’ What a fabulous project to be involved in, one that has had over 24 Million views on iPlayer and has had tongues (and tails!) wagging all over the world!
Tamborine has had the pleasure of taking care of the Recording and Audio Post on quite a few of Darrall Macqueen’s projects, but Waffle has been a really big hit that we are super proud to have been asked to work with them on.
Darrall Macqueen say they only like to “make programmes that children really love, really talk about and really want to watch. Over and over again!” And they have certainly fulfilled their promise with Waffle the Wonder Dog, now with 60 x 11 min episodes of a heart-warming serialised comedy for four to severn-year olds; popular with children in 30 countries over the globe!
Waffle is regularly in the Children’s Top 10 in the Broadcast Magazine, often appearing at number 1 (and even spots 2, 3 & 7 as well one week!) The show has had nominations at the BAFTA and Broadcast Awards and were International Finalists at the Prix Jeuneese Awards too.
We have been enjoying the new series, which kicked off in early spring this year and look forward to seeing the the remaining episodes, with hopefully some more well-deserved nominations going forward!
