Missing the motherland.

Okay, sooo I’m always checking my feed but never posting. Buuut since I’m finally one with technology.. (fixed macbook after 1.5 years and iphone 6 holllaaaa~), I can really get back to this. Anyway, Korea next week... woah. WOAH, so weird typing it down, it makes it so official. And I still haven’t started packing ha...ha. Even though I’m really excited for Korea, I’m really, really sad I didn’t make it a side trip to pass by the Philippines, it’s going to be 3 years since I haven’t been there, and according to my mom, the longest I’ve been away. And that just makes me sad. There are sooo many things I could write about how much I miss the phils. My cousin younger than me has 2 kids which I haven’t seen yet, other nephews and nieces, missing that Filipino sun, all the humbling experiences from being in the motherland, and.... sigh. Kinda a bummer, but it’ll be okay. Korea!! It’s okay Tam!! ...I just miss my fam. Especially when you’re the only one in America out of all your cousins.

All the filipino titos in cali must be going cray right now lol. The watch party shown during commercials was filled with Filipinos hahaha. Steph Curry with the shot tho. Soooo cute seeing him with his fam. And props to Lebron still, great player. Shouldn't have left Miami thoughhhhhh.

Life moves.

And really fast that is. Finally have time to update this. In short, here's what has happened. I'm...a nurse. A registered nurse. Nursing pinning and graduation. Finally upgraded my phone even tho I could've a year ago (wanted to pass the NCLEX first). Korea ticket has been bought. Sogang's tuition has been paid. Finally relearned hangul. Flying out from NYC. Seeing my Jersey friends. Yah.

Brunch at this cute organic place. Love trying poached egg dishes, my only complaint is when a restaurant that offers those dishes can't poach eggs consistently /: Both my mom and I ordered the same dish, mine was undercooked and her yolk was almost well done, didn't run at all. But nevertheless, loved the concept of the place, as well as the atmosphere. Cute garden in the front as well!
