EVENT TWO.
you all meet and then go to the home of joseph joyner, as previously planned. upon showing up, he’s obviously taken back by the large group of people two has brought, not knowing other’s were coming: but once finding out that two is the one he had spoken to, he lets you all into his home none the less.
two takes the role of the leader, asking the most questions as joseph seems to be nervous with the situation -- in between answers he gives to her, he tries hard to make everyone comfortable in his own house as though it would hide his discomfort with such a large group. when asked about tami, he seems to tense up more: it’s clear to any and everyone that he knows something he shouldn’t from the moment her name is said.
two asks why he canceled future appointments, and he is clearly lying when he tells you all that he simply found someone who was whiling to work with him for less. when he is asked about tami’s illness, his face seems to drop as if he didn’t know that she was sick. he asks the same questions you all most likely had -- what’s wrong with her? what are her symptoms? is she doing okay? does it look like she’s getting better?
when his questions are shut up, his eyes seem to fall on prior and his lovers as he takes a deep breath. his next words are obviously a confession: “i was told to give her this thing. i don’t know much about it, but my guy said to trust him and things would be easier on me. i don’t know if it has anything to do with her getting sick, but i can give it to you guys.”
he gives you guys a bottle, and prior a nervous smile as he does. it’s unlabeled and filled with a red and partially see-through liquid. if he really gave this to tami, he couldn’t have given her much. two is the one to find out where he got this thing: some guy gave it to him, and said if he needed any more of it to call ###-###-####.
joseph doesn’t know anymore than that, but at least you got a few answers.
