Hello everyone! I took part in Ludum Dare 44 game jam. It was my first Ludum Dare, but certainly not last!

It’s a pretty simple game and it does not have audio at the moment. I would like to expand the game and come up with more characters and more complex gameplay. The art style is something that I wanted to try, but I don’t know if I’d like to keep the pixel aesthetic. I would probably re-do the graphics, still keeping the simple palettes and style. But you know, without the pixels.

Kitacon 8 takana päin ja tällä kertaa jaettiin taidekujapöytä @hirnupernan kanssa! (@koops9 toimi taas pöytävahtina, thx m8) Ihana nähä kuinka ihmiset tunnistaa ja muistaa oman artin ja pöydän, nostaa aina taiteilumotivaatiota kummasti. ^^

Ajanpuutteen vuoksi pöydällä ei ollu kummosemmin mitään uutta, pinssit tulivat nyt uutena juttuna. Niistä jos kuvaa saisin otettua ja tänne laitettua, ois ihan jepa. Kiitoksia kaikille conikävijöille ja eritoten kiitos kaikille teille jotka piipahditte tuossa pöydällä ja nähdään sitten seuravan kerran varmaan Matsuconissa!

I finally got around to making a redbubble page, Check it out!

More spray practice, this was my first time painting in a proper workshop! Huge thanks to te teachers who let us work there and were patient enough to babysit us!

I really like the colors of the one with the pink pyramids and I tried doing that with partially inverted colors. I think that the blue planet looks kinda neat, the green one, not so much. These all are still great experiments and I think that now I have much better understanding how to work with the colors. It's just so much fun when you watch a bunch of tutorials online and then you finally get to try them out!

These are mainly color and technigue tests, since I bought new paints and I had a lot of space to work in where I didn't have to worry about making a mess. Sadly, because of the lack of time (and my impatience-) the paper that I used for masking stuck to the wet paint. Kids, don't rush with wet paint, let it dry before you try adding new layers!

Unfortunately we had only a few of hours to work there so I didn't have the time to test out everything I wanted. I also knew only a couple hours before that we would go painting so I didn't have the time to plan out any of these tests or make any stencils. I hope that next time I'll be properly prepared!
