What is Tamp Down?

Tamp Down is a low fantasy adventure about a young woman named Keye, who is on the run, and on a journey to find her aunt and the safe haven where she resides, after being found out as a Taboo.

What is a Taboo you may ask? A person who possesses superhuman abilities, someone born with superpowers in a vastly unpowered world. Illegal, and means for detention, or worse if you're considered dangerous.

👉🏾 You can join Keye on her journey as she meets others like her, and finds her own place in this world.

Hey Stars, how has your January been? It's not over yet, but I'm proudly going to say I've survived it.

Peeking in to say, Updates will return Feb 4th, 2026! An early Valentine's Day gift to you ♥ But I will also say that they will be one page updates going further, until further notice...

Changes in life, my own health, and energy have made it tricky but not impossible to continue. However, I am remaining kind to myself, as to not add any extra stress on top of things.

If you ever get tired of the pace, i will remind that Tamp Down is actually ~8 pages ahead on Kofi at the time of posting, and updates as I finish pages. The tier for that is 5 usd, and gets you other perks as well. There is also the community page, where I sometimes post page sketches and doodles, and you can too!

With Christmas in less than 4 days, I hope you all have a safe, blessed, and warm holiday season. I know times are tough, and they always are, but the year is almost over, we survived it, and we'll continue to do the same as the year turns to the next. But for now, if you can, tell your loved ones you love them, get yourself a treat (if funds allow), and take a breath. You deserve it.

Reminder that while I *am* on hiatus, I *am* also still slowly but surely making pages and uploading them to Kofi!!

We're currently nine (9) pages ahead of where we left off. Sure that's only like three updates, (maybe four, I'm thinking of making the updates shorter to be easier on me) but as I'm not entirely sure when the hiatus will end, you can still read it! And see other projects I'm working on as well ;D

📀For Jean?

How easy is it to shock your OC? To confuse them? To lie to them, to manipulate them? How are they with feelings of trust? Can your OC be trusted?

😊It's not too difficult to shock or confuse Jean; He's a professional hype man in all things, you could do a simple card trick, and he'd be amazed and confused, he's the type of person you bring to a magic show because he won't look at it with a critical eye. He's smart,,, but he's still "himbo coded" at the end of the day. He's a little silly sometimes, and that's okay!

You can definitely lie and stretch the truth to him, but at what cost, could you really do that to him? 😊 He's a very trusting person, and loves to see the good in others, despite his occupation. He's a very good cop kinda guy in a good cop bad cop situation. He would be completely devastated to learn he's been lied to and/or deceived however... :( Or at the very least disappointed. Especially if you're someone he really trusts.

Can he be trusted? Absolutely! 😊He's a very trustworthy person all things considered! He's a guy you leave to watch your drink, he's a guy who'll come help you move furniture if you ask, he's a guy who keeps his promises.

What does your OC’s voice sound like? Their laugh? Are they good at singing? Do they have an accent?

Voice headcanons are scary for me because they a) are always changing, b) I hate to influence people's headcanons, and c) can never find the perfect voice reference-

I do have a headcanon voice for Keye tho, surprisingly, but not for Bastion. I won't say who the HC is tho, because of the aforementioned B. I know people are free to HC otherwise but I hate breaking that illusion.

I also have one for Bastion's dad tho, and that voice is Sean Schemmel [as Monkey King specifically]! I will openly share that one!
