As an N I am really good at reading people, when they interact with eachother.I can understand their intentions. But I am so introverted that whenever someone interacts with ME I lose all ability to read people. Sometimes I feel like I’m not a real human and just an observer. Because I am good with people, unless they talk to me.

I have a serious overthinking problem that’s very destructive! There are times when I’m not sure if it’s a problem or my mind is making up one. I spend all day thinking about this one little silly thing and at the end of the day I feel really bad and make a big deal out of it. I tend to overthink mostly about my reactions to people and what they would think of me. Sometimes I wish if there was someone who knew exactly how to make me stop overthinking and analyzing.

Tackled a fugue analysis exam today

and I feel quite relieved. I had an exam on baroque history on Monday and I heard I got full points. What? What is this sorcery? I hope some of this new-found luck got caught in my fugue exam as well. It was some nasty Bach fugue, yikes...

Finally, it's time to Ravel

Yes! I had my first year recital/exam (whatever it was) two weeks ago and my piano prof was quite adamant today that I should now start playing "a really fucking difficult huge piece". Before I left I asked him for suggestions and then he went "Hmph.. Have you ever played Ravel?" You should have seen my face. RAVEL. FUCKING RAVEL. I'm still not sure what to play, though my prof mentioned the sonatine and parts from Miroirs, like Une barque sur l'ocean. I really like Jeux d'eau as well, not to mention Le Tombeau de Couperin, but I guess I'm leaning towards Sonatine at the moment. I'm so excited!!! RAVELING!!!
