Cathedral rose window Afghan in rainbow colors to compliment my stained glass window Afghan in the same color scheme.

I started this Afghan right after Christmas and worked on it off and on for 3 months before completion.

~Stained glass blanket finished project~

I finally finished my stained glass blanket and I'm so happy! This isn't the best picture I have, but I was just so excited to share this with you all! I made mine 6 by 6 squares which is big enough for a double/queen size bed. I also sewed a panel of fabric to the back so I didn't have to hide all the ends. Definitely recommend this blanket if you feel like losing your sanity over the course of half a year!

Stained glass window Afghan with the border is now finished!

Edit: the response to this blanket has been phenomenal. To answer a few questions….. no this Afghan is not knitted it is crochet. This Afghan is not granny squares but rather done first in circles with a square border. The black lines ore crocheted in during each round and are not seen back in later.

Videos to get my son & I moving!

Videos to get my son & I moving!

Are there any videos I can watch like on YouTube with my 3.5 year old for like 30 mins a day to get kid friendly “exercise” or dancing, just to get him moving and whatnot, kinda like PE but fun lol. He loves that but I am not creative enough to come up with what to do, any ideas welcome!

@homeschoolbase It depends on what you and your 3.5 year old find fun.

I’d recommend doing a search on YouTube for “creative movement for preschoolers”. That should find you some really fun videos to participate in along with your son!

You could also just putting on some music made for kids by searching on YouTube for “creative movement songs for preschoolers”. The exercise doesn’t have to be structured, just keep moving for 15 to 30 minutes a day!
