Tomanto suspects a link between Grandma Tomaturu’s disappearance and the Phantom Thief Paprika, but feels disheartened at his inability to find any clues. Encouraged by Pucchy, he suddenly recalls some words his grandmother once shared with him.

Phantom Thief Paprika
An elusive master thief. Paprika alters their appearance to pull off disguises and nonchalantly escapes with the treasure.

The mango proprietress of the juice bar, Mamango. She kindly listens to Tomanto’s worries and complaints.

A broccoli gang leader. She is troubled by the fact that flowers unintentionally bloom on her head. She has a strong sense of loyalty and compassion.

A delinquent banana. He throws a peel to make his opponents slip. Then he tells a pun so bad that even he falls flat too.

A caring, helpful apple. Police Chief Potato’s wife. Her favorite words are “special bargain day” and “sale.”

Melobon
A young and naive melon from a well-to-do family. An only child raised in a greenhouse. Has high self-esteem. Has a crush on Berilly.

Old Man Makka
An oriental melon who is Melobon’s elderly butler. He has his hands full looking after Melobon. He was grown in a home garden.
