Blogs provide a learning space Blogs do not merely establish scaffolding for beginners, nor do they merely allow students to learn from multiple perspectives or receive support from advanced students. They also create a relatively learner-centred environment that allows students to learn at their own pace (Efimova & Fiedler, 2003; Godwin-Jones, 2008). However, if the information that the students are learning is incorrect, then all of the students are being misinformed. These points have already been made in the discussion above, but here we draw attention to the way in which blogs pull together several of the most recommended pedagogies from learning theory: scaffolding, student-centred learning, the incorporation of multiple perspectives, and the use of learning communities. However, the spreading of misinformation is self-governed within the community, and it’s the responsibility of people adding hyperlinked material to ensure that the material doesn’t contain misinformation. In summary, blogs can be treated as virtual language classrooms. People from all over the world can share opinions and express ideas by using a language they all understand. Language teachers can use blogs as discussion forums to increase time and opportunities for students to learn the target language. While blogs are used in education, there is little research about the use of blogs for language learning and teaching in EFL contexts.
I call it as autonomous learning Besides improving writing skill, blogs also can improve students’ ability in reading comprehension. By using blogs as a tool for reflective learning, students’ ability in reading comprehension will improve. After read the articles or books, they can get new things that they never got from their teacher. This kind of activity can call teachers to evolve their instructional practices and make sure they are utilizing the rapidly changing technologies that are available to their students on a daily basis. By incorporating these technologies, students will be able to participate in authentic experiences that build motivation and support their learning (VanEpps, 2012). One day, when I become a teacher, I will ask my students to read books and articles beside my book that I used to teach. I will ask them to search books from their friends in another school, so they can exchange information. I think study with friends is more effective than they just study in the classroom. They can discuss, giving comments, suggestion, examples etc. That’s I call it autonomous learning.
Come on teacher, make your class interesting After teaching-learning process, teacher should do reflection. What things that we have been done delivered, is there any mistakes and something missing in our teaching-learning process. If there are any mistakes, we can revise that in the next meeting or if there is something missing we can add the missing materials in the next meeting. Not only teacher but also students need to do reflection. To do reflection, one needs to have a medium where students can express their thoughts. Traditionally students write in a book. However with the advance of the web, the introduction of blogs is the new medium where they can publish their thoughts and reflections. The underlying assumption is that student can discuss through electronic platform e.g. blog, websites and online forums (Mansor,2011). Now, students can use blogs to do this activity. One of the benefits is to keep the result of students’ critical thinking. When the result was posted in the web-blog, they can access the site whenever they want. It can save until they are old. Moreover, when their posts are reposted by another people, it will be last for long time. So, come on teachers, move to the digital media. It will be a challenging activity.
My JOURNEY (re : thesis) Hello! I’ve told you before about my task to write an abstract, right? Ya after my lecture give me suggestion to change my topic research; I found many journals about blogging for reflective learning. I never expect if there is a lot of researchers ever do research about this. From that many journals, I interest with Shih-Hsien Yang journals. She comes from National Formosa University, YunLin, Taiwan. She talked about Using Blogs to Enhance Critical Reflection and Community of Practice. It is almost in line with my research. The picture above is my new abstract. My lecture said that my newest abstract is good. Oh My Goodness, I feel happy at that time. Because I will do the research about technology, she suggests me to read about TPACK. I don’t know what TPACK is, but I think it is such kind of technology that can be used in teaching-learning activity. Maybe anyone of you know about TPACK? I’m so pleased if you can share the website or journals, books, articles or kinds of that thing that may help me to do my research. See you!!!
My first ABSTRACT Last week my lecture asked me to make an abstract. I wrote an abstract about the using blog for improving writing skill. In the classroom, we are divided into three groups. Each group consist of 3-4 students. We have to check the other’s work and give comment about the other’s abstract. The picture above is my abstract. (Its look like little bit worse, right?) When my lecture sees my abstract, she gives me comments about my abstract. There are some mistakes and she suggests me to change my title. Also she said that it would be better for me to do research about blogging for reflective learning. From that, I change my mind to do research about that. So I move from improving writing skill to improving students’ reading skill. Okay, from now let’s find out journals about blogging for reflective learning. I can’t wait what will I get from the topic l 😂😂

Dear my Teacher, I (student) am smarter than you 😀🙃 Student today may cope with multi-tasking while using and learning a foreign language far better than many teachers expect. We as a teacher can take the advantages from that. We can lead our students to do not only having fun with their social media but also we can ask them to make a forum discussion in. Apply the objective-focused online writing using social media such as blog to improve students’ writing ability. Miyazoe (2012) said that an objective-focused online writing design model uses discussion forum, blogs and wikis. Blogs stand for students’ reflection and wikis for collaboration for higher outcomes. The key is to balance challenge and fun in order to induce the highest productivity in the students’ acquisition of the target language. At last, by using the social media such as blog or twitter or something else, students can enjoy the blended course design composed of three different online writing activities. They can also show their improvement to write in academic English using their own writing styles.
