Todd has fewer restless nights now that she’s here. In the milky light of 5 am he can see her snuggled against the pillow, her chest rising softly, her mouth slightly open. He’s painfully aware of the way his chest twists and how his fingers go weak when he sees her like that: half a smile spread across her mouth, and the faint whistle of her breath steady on his fingers. She sleeps splayed out on her back, in a cocoon of blanket that he faintly remembers tucking around her thin shoulders the night before, and when Petunia shifts a little and mumbles in her sleep, he suddenly realizes the expression on his face might be something close to a smile.

I’ve been dying to draw Dylan recently so I quenched my own thirst. He’s not even in the update…

Update. Update? Yes, my webcomic updated. Chapter 17 pages 35-39 are up. Yes, it’s 5 pages. Plus the end page so I guess it’s actually 6 pages. Chapter 17 is done now. Please read it!!
