#Počitelj #Bosnia&Herzegovenia The entire historic urban site of Počitelj suffered catastrophic damage as a result of the 1992-1996 war in Bosnia & Herzegovina - mainly by Croatian forces. Počitelj's sixteenth-century works of Islamic art and architecture were destroyed and the town's population was displaced. Only 3 residents have returned to their homes in the town since the war.
