Unfortunate timing by British Airways for the 'discover the Indian Ocean' advert.
Anastasia elias is a French Artist. Typically she works in the medium of painting and illustration but a few months back I came across these amazingly stunning pieces of work that she created. Why I haven't posted them sooner, I don't know. Who'd have though toilet paper rolls could create such beautiful and magical pieces of art with the simple use of lighting. This is definitely a technique I plan to experiment and play around with in the near future. Check out her website where you can see the whole project ... It's definitely worth it. http://www.anastassia-elias.com/
Here is some beautiful typography from the fantastic Mr Craig Ward. I absolutely love everything about his experimental and creative approach towards typography and then the ways he applies it. Definitely a huge inspiration .... It's definitely worth checking out his website below http://wordsarepictures.co.uk/
last night I decided to sign up to behance, so far I've only uploaded a couple of projects from over the last 2 years but within the next week I'm going to start uploading my current work... Www.behance.net/tashafolks
We have just started a typography project relating to phrases. Whilst researching I came across some pretty cool inspiration.
This was a quote I originally found but it had illustrations over the text... I loved it so much so I decided to re type it out!!!
I hope it can inspire you as much as it inspired me.
