Ari was relieved that Cass was being smart with Taska. He just hoped she would agree to what they were going to do. The last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt… He’d blame himself for not protecting her. He was a cop after all. It was his job to protect.

Ari nodded at Cass, understanding what he needed to do. He didn’t look again at the Krogan, but he remembered them easily in his mind. He just hoped they wouldn’t wander too far. They needed to track them.

Fucking upset, that's how. I mean, it was likely to happen since he was crazy outnumbered. But I just hate thinking about it. He and his guys were the only people who ever gave a shit about people like me stuck living on Omega.
