Oh, I just realised–

Aziraphale never denies they're a couple. Not even once. Not to the passer-by after Crowley says he'll leave for Alpha Centuari, not to Uriel, not to Shax.

Meanwhile Crowley gets to hear one(1) insinuation that they might be together and immediately denies it.

This gets more interesting when you see that Aziraphale has denied that they're friends multiple times in s1 (never in s2), while Crowley's the one who's been calling them friends for ages.

Something about Aziraphale being unable to deny the one thing he wants the most, and Crowley holding on to the one thing he treasures the most, and something about both of them losing it at the end of season two.

headcanon that Crowley can't keep away from the bookshop because he likes to be extra miserable, and more often than not he ends up drunk, ranting at Muriel about everything and mostly Aziraphale. (Muriel nods at the rights places while holding a glass of wine).

At some point Crowley just make them get in the Bentley (in the backseat, with the plants) and drives while ranting. Muriel is just happy to be included.

Crowley puts sad loves songs and sings along, Muriel does the back vocals, badly and enthusiastically. They both suck.

Anyway, Crowley not being alone in his sadness, and Muriel just happy to have a (grumpy) friend.

This is deeply comforting to me. It’s not “wait and see”. It’s “not yet.” It will happen. They will have a happy ending, and live in a little cottage in South Downs together 🫶

I think my favourite line in season 2 is crowley's "he's far too pure of heart to be anybody's bit on the side" because any time we get to hear the way crowley talks about aziraphale to other people is a joy, but also it's just so genuine and full of so much love. he's not speaking about aziraphale with any agenda, he's just speaking off the cuff. it's ridiculously sweet. it's also hilarious because it's crowley's immediate reaction to nina suggesting that they're casually sleeping together and crowley's like, um no, we're not, but fyi if we were I would be treating him right!

It's even better because it would be SO easy to have him downplay how much he likes Aziraphale to everyone he talks to, and not even in a romantic sense.

In a show that cared less about its characters, he would be playing up how very suave and very cool he is and hiding his feelings by calling Aziraphale a dweeb and making jokes at his expense to the people around them. I mean yes, he does that with Aziraphale himself, but it's always done in a gentle, familiar tease.

But with everyone else? He doesn't even try to hide how much he adores him, how clever and special and funny and interesting he finds him. It's so deliciously sweet and earnest, but never in a way that feels overly sappy either. It's just a matter of enjoying the person you love.

Don't just run GO2 repeatedly on Amazon - it might not be counted

I've read that if you just keep running Good Omens season 2, and also if you have it muted, Amazon won't count the repeated runs.

After a while, it will assume you're a bot and won't count it as a run.

To make your re-runs count, you need to come out of the run every couple of episodes and play something else on Amazon, maybe a whole episode of another series, or a film. After that, go back to where you left off with Good Omens and continue the run from where you left off.

Don't use the mute option or the volume bar on Amazon to keep the volume off. Drop the volume to very low, or mute your own speakers instead.

I read this on Facebook and it may not be accurate, but I reckon it's worth bearing in mind if we want every run of season 2 to count.

Their first kiss was a desperate cry from Crowley to Azirphale to see him and what he's casting away, to say yes to him instead of everything else, to make him get it, while Azirphale wanted to kiss back, wanted to kiss Crowley for so long, but, not like this. Not this desperate howling cry for something they never truly let themselves have in the first place. Never said in words. Never admitted to themselves or to each other.

They second kiss will be tender. It will be a homecoming. They will crush into each other and melt and it will be joyful and soft and sweet and romantic.

Their first kiss was born out of pure chaos and the desire for things to stay the same.

Their second kiss will be the promise of something new.

Their love won't change, only grow.

hear me out. season 3. aziraphale is new supreme archangel. sure he can use his new authority to spy on his poor wet cat of a boyfriend as im sure will become a popular trope in fic. but. he can also use these powers to unlock all those Top Secret files heaven has laying around. and also find out exactly why crowley fell and realize it sucks so bad and is so so unfair because he's done sooo much worse than just ask the wrong questions truly so many times in the last 6000 years and despite this they. put him. in charge. and he realizes that maybe heaven doesn't actually know or care what's "good" or "bad"? and then accidentally blows heaven up from the inside out in a way that only aziraphale can in an effort to get back to earth the end. <3
