Note to followers and mutuals

Hey all! I’m retiring this blog - the url and stuff is going to be moved over to my main blog (which I will link to once I finish it off) and essentially, this blog will no longer receive updates. If you still want to follow me and content (again I’ll post up the link) look for the new taupewolfy 3.0 blog! @castleinthemist​

The reason for this is because my main blog (my art blog) never gets used and I don’t like sending asks/replies/likes to people with it. So I’m just moving over and “starting anew” with taupewolfy. The url for this blog is going to change (I don’t want to delete it cause I have a lot of good ref/art I like on here)

But as a straight [dark skin, black] man coming through and admitted he’s been sexually assaulted he’s getting some backlash from misogynistic, toxic masculinity filled, stupid people [men and women]. But I’m not one of them. I’m glad he’s speaking up and admitting what happened and not taking this too lightly.

July 21st marks the first anniversary of Splatoon 2, and we’re celebrating with a global Splatfest! Which sea creature is your favorite, Squid or Octopus? This hotly contested Splatfest will occur from 7/20 (Fri) 9:00pm PT - 7/21 (Sat) 9:00pm PT.

To make the event more special, players on Team Squid will play as Inklings, and players on Team Octopus will play as Octolings. Even if you don’t have the Octo Expansion, if you’re reppin’ Team Octopus, you’ll play as Octolings. On the other hand, those fighting for Team Squid will play as Inklings even if their usual character is set to Octoling.

By the way, your appearance will only change during Splatfest battles. In the Square, you’ll appear as your usual rad self.

Which team will be declared the winner in this cephalopod conflict?! Will you take your time and deliberate on which team to pick? Or are you ready to declare Muck Warfare?

(Please note that the global nature of this Splatfest means Judd and Li'l Judd will need some additional time to calculate, so results will be posted 7/22.)

The elvish archaeologists who broke open the tomb of Ilexandra, Fifth Mage-regent of the Riverlands, were overjoyed at their find. As according to custom, her body was found cut into pieces, wrapped in spider-silk cloth and interred in five jars alongside her royal scepter - attuned with a spell allowing control over lesser undead - and an ornate jade death-mask carved with five eyes to denote her lineage. They supposed the discovery - complete as it was, and perfectly preserved - would surely be hailed as one of the greatest of their age.

The chief archaeologist’s journal entry for the day notes the faint aroma of a lingering magic spell over the long-dead queen: “Most likely a charm to prevent decay, and perhaps discourage interference by the giant subterranean mole-rats of the region.”

The journal was found almost a week later by a search party, amongst a pile of broken equipment, torn clothing and inexplicably rusted weapons found just outside the tomb. No bodies were ever found, but since the Old Elvish words for “KEEP OUT” had been daubed on the great stone door (apparently in fresh elf blood), they never actually set foot inside ever again.
