35: hairdresser
I usually go to a really hip retro barber to get my hair styled right. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go there today. So instead I went to a cheaper place. Although there's no vinyl LPs on the wall there, and no 60s Rock n Roll on the playlist, they did play Style over the music installation. I'm up next so hopefully they'll have decent hair cutting skills as well as good taste in music :). Wish me luck...
36: Honestly, I don’t even like kids
Butttttt.... like I said before, mini-Ed and mini-Taylor are so freaking adorable that I want to adopt them and quit my job to bake cookies with them. All day long. And that’s exactly the reason why I think Everything has Changed should be in my top 10 Taylor videos so I hereby present you 7. Everything has Changed
37: OK, So now you’ve watched Bad Blood....
.... Take a deep breathe, play this video and appreciate the passing of time. WOW. This is the same person who in 2015 has staged the biggest (girl) fight in music video history. :)
38: Baby now we got bad blood
Yeah I know that joke has been made A LOT today. So sorry for not being witty enough to come up with my own gimmick but I worked ALL day OK? I save my jokes for the office cause I really need people to like me at work. OK? So here’s the part where I - as a swiftie - am supposed to be SUPER excited. But......I’m not. Not YET. I mean sure, there are certain aspects that I absolutely love about this video. Like the charactars and the fact that Taylor is such a bad-ass. Also that moment where all the ladies are walking and there is fire all over the place and Taylor has red hair is AWESOME. But I’m kinda bummed out about..how fast it all goes. There’s only a glimpse of each character and it’s so...FULL. I think that’s the word for it. And..the rap thing just isn’t for me. But I probably have to get used to it. Or maybe I won’t like it at all and that’s OK. That I’m really into Taylor’s music (I mean..I’m the co-author of a Tumblr about her) doesn’t have to mean that I will always love everything she does. It’s also OK to admit that something is just not for you, but hey I support you anyway because you’re awesome and you do awesome stuff and I BY THE WAY I CAN NOT WAIT FOR YOUR CONCERT. It’s OK to not always L O V E everything a person does guys. :)
39: a different place
So yea, a proper die-hard EU taylorswift fan might stay up for the #BadBloodMusicVideo to premier, but I can’t stay up that late tonight. But I do know the world tomorrow will be different. Tomorrow the world will have an epic Bad Blood video in it. I can’t remember when I was hyped so much for a music video. And I’ve been excited for lots of videos in the past. My expectations are high and I’m pretty sure the finished video will be a violent, beautiful work of art. It looks like it’s gonna be Taylor meets Marvel Comic Books meets Sin City. But better. This may very well change the world for a lot of us. :D
Also, I like it because as fans this is something we count down to together, and after this Taylor’s world tour is gonna be insane and huge and she’ll be all over the world, first two shows in the USA, then off the UK and then back to the USA for a couple of shows and THEN it’s off to Germany and Amsterdam. It’s all speeding up now. So cherish the moment you watch Bad Blood. It will be the first thing I do in the morning.

40: Most awesome Taylor vids
Yesterday I came across this Buzzfeed-ish article about what the author thought were the 10 best taylorswift videos. It was a nice list but I didn’t agree on all of it, but instead of complaining about it, I decided to make a top 10 list myself. I’ll share it with you, but only two each time, you know to keep things exciting and stuff. I present you....the first two of the ULTIMATE TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC VIDEO TOP 10 ACCORDING TO RED-LIP-CLASSIC-THING-THAT-YOU-LIKE 10. Ours I love how Taylor is such a normal office girl in this video. I mean, she could’ve Don’t get me wrong Stephen86, I realllly liked working with you but HOW AWESOME WOULD IT BE TO HAVE taylorswift HANGING AROUND IN YOUR OFFICE ON A DAILY BASIS? Although, if I had her as a co-worker we wouldn’t really get any work done, because we would be so busy watching cat videos on Youtube. The entire day.
9. Red
This video gives me some serious goosebumps. To me it shows exactly what a Taylor-show is like, although I didn’t get to see Taylor on her the Red-tour. This video makes me regret that. But hey, she didn’t come to the Netherlands so it’s not entirely my fault right? I know that the 1989 will be totally different, but this Red clip makes me SO excited for june 21! CAN. NOT. WAIT.
41: dive right in
Today I went for a swim at one of my local swimming pools. That’s what I do when I want to work out. Sometimes I consider running, but I have to buy proper shoes first and I kinda like diving in the water and swimming. There’s something very meditative about it and it feels like you’re using your whole body (although probably not all muscles).
So I was wearing the swimming shorts I bought on day 71 (when Blank Space was playing) so I was looking particularly stylish in them (although also a bit of a nerd, because that’s who I am). But how fitting it was that Style was playing when I entered the pool. :)
So when I bought these shorts it was Blank Space, when I wore them the pool today Style, next time: Bad Blood?
We’ll see...
42: Being lazy forgive me don’t be mad ok OK, I intended on not reblogging on this tumblr ever, but there was another earthquake and things were getting busy again at work this week, so....as I’d love to create my own content I’m just going to go ahead, be lazy and reblog this beautiful Style-caps as I’m waiting for taylorswift new video Bad Blood. *gasp for breath* GOSH don’t you L O V E this video??? Everytime I watch it, there’s something completely new to me, something that I haven’t noticed before. Kinda like watching Inception.
43: Rooting For Real
Tonight I was watching Champions League Football (soccer) with a friend. There was an important semi-final game between Real Madrid and Juventus. I don’t really care for those teams, but my friend and I usually make fun of the names of the players (creating stupid puns when they miss a chance, for example). I was watching this game as a neutral, as they’d say.
UNTIL... The second half was about to begin and the tv coverage was resumed. What song was playing over the stadium speakers to get the crowd back in the mood?
It wasn’t the eye of the tiger. It wasn’t the final countdown. It was Style. From that moment on I was rooting for Real. taylorswift really is everywhere these days!!
They didn’t make it to the final though.
Sadly.
(also: this weekend I played some Taylor vids on another friend’s TV and now he gets all these Taylor videos as recommendations whenever he opens YouTube. He complained to me for some reason I don’t understand. He should be happy ;).

44: All I know is we said ‘Hello’
WHAT TAYLOR VIDEO (IMAGINARY OR ONE THAT ALREADY EXISTS) WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAR IN AND WHAT CHARACTER WOULD YOU PLAY??? Woah, easy with the caps lock Stephen86, I’m DEAF NOW BECAUSE OF YOUR SCREAMING. Then again, I’m pretty used to you starting to scream IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE THEN CONTINUE THE REST OF THE STORY SCREAMING. But...back to business, right? It’s a tough question. Of course I would like to be the taylorswift in Begin Again, wandering around in Paris, wearing pretty clothes and red lipstick (that happen to be a thing that I like). Or I could be Taylor in Mine, being all happy with that boy and stuff. I really like this specific moment (and may or may not have watched it a 42890329 times). But if I had to pick just one, of course I want to be mini Taylor in Everything Has Changed. Because who wouldn’t want to be a child again? Who wouldn’t want to be a child that happens to be Taylor Swift? And who wouldn’t want to be best friends with mini-Ed?
45: Baby *almost* we got bad blood :)
YES The Bad Blood video is gonna be epic, epic, epic. I love the stylish posters and the different friends taylorswift has recruited to fight for (or against?) her. I also really like the fact that Ellie Goulding is in the video, because I really liked her first album and she’s all sporty and would make a good baddie in the video :). In a fun way :D.
Also Karlie Kloss is in there, which we could have guessed probably. AND Lena Dunham AND OH MY THE CAST IS GETTING SO BIG WE MUST BE GETTING A 8 MINUTE VIDEO, 4 OF WHICH WILL BE THE SONG OR SOMETHING.
Anyway, yes red-lip-classic-thing-that-you-like... You CAN be in the music video. And I’m pretty sure that one day I’ll make one. I have this fantasy that whenever I’m walking around, listening to music (or sitting on a train etc) that I AM making a music video. So you’ve got to make your (day) dreams come true right? RIGHT? Well, I shall, one day. :D All I need is a catchy song, or maybe we should just do a cover of a song we really like ;). What kind of role would you like to play in a music video? Would you like to be some kind of fighter like all the people in Taylor’s new video? Or would you like to wander around looking pretty like Taylor in Begin Again? Or do you want to be main figure in a big story? TALK TO ME! We could work this out! WHAT TAYLOR VIDEO (IMAGINARY OR ONE THAT ALREADY EXISTS) WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAR IN AND WHAT CHARACTER WOULD YOU PLAY???
I would definitely be the guy in Begin Again because then I would also have a nice camera and a jacket and everything (or the guy at the desk in Ours) (or just that guy in You Belong With Me). :D

Sorry I keep mixing things up and now we’re out of number order so here is belated 47 from me. I’ve been a bit stressed out lately with all the stuff going on in my life but I’m gonna play catch-up.
So this new version of Love Story is different good. Yes, it took me some getting used to as well, since I love the sound of the guitar on the original and the epic climax where I’ll usually go on my knees and “pull out a ring” ;). To be honest, it’s usually not actually a ring because I don’t carry any rings with me usually, but hey, usually it makes other people laugh. I don’t think I’d be able to do such a good impression with the new Love Story but the bit before the bridge is my favorite thing in the new version of Love Story. In the old version it’s the bridge that follows cos I always try to sing the harmonies on top of the song that’s playing for the bit wondering if you were ever coming around...
So yea, I like it, red-lip-classic-thing-that-you-like :). And to answer your other question: It’s a one-of-a-kind friendship ;).
46: Bad Blood is almost here
WOOOH! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE that taylorswift decided to shoot a video for Bad Blood, because Bad Blood is one of my favorite songs. I love how it sounds so..powerful and badass-ish. And how cool is it that Selena Gomez, Hayley Williams and Cara Delevigne are part of the music video? I mean, I don’t really care about them personally, but it’s awesome that she invites her friends to be a part of this, right? So Stephen86, if you will ever make a music video, I get to be in it right? RIGHT?

Stephen86, it struck me that we have never talked about the new version of Lovestory. I mean...we talked about the original song A LOT. I wasn’t there when you did the ecstatic office performace of Lovestory...but..I’ve heard the stories and I’v seen the footage and well...let me say I wish I was there. But it seems like you have to do a cover of Lovestory since taylorswift made a new version as well. AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME WHAT YOU ACTUALLY THINK ABOUT IT! What kind of friendship is this Stephen86? Huh? Personally - to be 100% honest - it took me a while to get used to it. See, Lovestory was one of the first Taylor songs I heard and I feel so nostalgic about it. Butttt...fair enough, this version is more suitable for the 2015-Taylor we know. And it shows how incredibly multi-talented T. is. I mean...look at the stuff she does at 2:40. Could you pull that off? Let me know when you’re giving it a try, I will definitely drop by the office ;).
49: ok ok ok ok setlist guesses (no spoilers)
So, while trying to remain spoiler-free…I have a fun exercise for you and me. It’s called: CREATE-YOUR-DREAM-SETLIST-FOR-THE-1989-TOUR! And when it’s june 21 and we’re standing in Ziggo Dome, I suggest we freak out every time Taylor sings something from our list ok?
Ok. I’m guessing a lot of 1989 stuff - based on the setlist of the Red tour which mostly consisted of Red songs - and the greatest hits from before. Also I wonder whether the setlist will change. Perhaps she finds that some songs don’t work and they will be replaced with songs from other eras? In a way that doesn't mean she’ll have to rework the entire show?
Soooo: The classics picked from a selection like: Love Story, You Belong With Me, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (like ever), Everything Has Changed and I Knew You Were Trouble. And then a selection of songs from the new album, and I’m rooting for the singles, Clean, How You Get The Girl, Baaaad Blood and All You Had to do was STAY. I don’t necessarily want to hear Welcome to New York live, but let’s face it: she’s gonna open with that, isn’t she. And it’s probably gonna be epic :). So I’ll be happy either way :).
Ooh I’m excited now.

....well almost. Just 50 of hopefully-non-restless-nights away. Stephen86, I’M SO EXCITED TO GO WITH YOU! I already know it’s going to be one of the best things of 2015. As I’m writing this taylorswift just did her first show in Tokyo and sadly I saw some spoilers while browsing through the tumblr feed. I can’t decide if I want to go in spoiler-free..I mean..I think I don’t mind knowing which songs T. is going to perform, but if she’s soaring over us while standing on a balcony-thing and singing Lovestory just like she did during the Speak Now tour...see I DON’T want to know that. OK it’s not the best picture I ever took, but it is for real. ;) I guess we’ll call it authentic ;).
So ironically after writing about lullabies last time I slept very badly last night. I had one of those restless nights. I had a relaxed Sunday evening - watching an episode of a nice tv show (Orphan Black, y’all!) reading a book - and then when I turned of the light I was just really restless. Had to get up every hour to go to the bathroom and I didn’t really fall asleep till very late and it’s annoying because I had to get up really early today.
While I had a restless night, so had Tokyo fans who get to see Taylor really really soon. When she arrived the whole airport went mental apparently, and rightly so ;). Can’t wait to see pics from the tour, although I’m not sure whether I want to spoil myself setlistwise? What do you think red-lip-classic-thing-that-you-like? Are we going in Spoiler-Free on June 21st, or do we want to obsess over all the details in advance?
