Taylor chuckled, “cool. So basically I tell you that and you force me to once again, pour my heart out to you so you can once again, reject me and remind me how you never want to be with me and how terrible I am. Cool, cool.” he shook his head, “can you move please? I could have been playing with Akemi right now instead of giving you another chance to make a fool out of me.”

You don’t get the jitters when you see me, you don’t go home feeling like an absolute moron for trying after being shot down for the fifth time, and you don’t keep trying to jump through hoops to see if maybe any part of me still gives a damn about you. So yeah maybe Dan bothers you but that’s mostly because you just hate Dan, you couldn’t give a shit otherwise.”

Dominic pulls Taylor back into his office and closes the door so Akemi doesn’t hear them. “I’ve done nothing but be civil. What is your fucking problem?” he asks in a low hiss.

Taylor shoots Dominic a death glare, “don’t be daft, I want to be with you, it’s not going to happen and I’m trying to be polite about it but it’s really hard when I still think you’re really hot and I still get really jealous over you. I can’t pretend I don’t and then you’ll just keep getting mad at me and we’ll keep fighting. I’m trying to do the right thing.”

We only talk when we absolutely have to, we’re not friends, we love Akemi and we’ll do what we need for her but I can’t just hang out with you. I’m sorry that I’m not dead inside like you.”
