Coffee was never helpful in the mornings, she tended to be extra jittery and powers were harder to control. Why did emotions have to be so turbulent and hard to understand? But there she was, coffee in hand and phone in the other, making sure to tell the director that she’d be there, she won’t be too late- and all that jazz. The event yesterday ended super late, and she couldn’t work herself out properly afterwards for this shoot.
Wrapped in really puffed clothing and dark sunglasses (somehow due to the cold January weather, and because she didn’t want exposure this early today), she quietly stayed on one side, not anticipating someone talking to her - and sitting straight up just– just there. Luckily her eyes were hidden, because they went big as saucers.
A smile painted on her face - “I wasn’t expecting that, but feel free. I might be making scoffing sounds and what not, but it’s not towards you- promise.” she said as a joke, easing out the initial startle she just had.
“Thank you,” taylor managed a quick smile and took her place opposite the other lady, “what are you scoffing at?” she began, tucking away a lock of golden hair behind her ears. “i’ll bear that in mind though,” she added quickly.
a small sigh escaped her lips as she took a sip from her coffee cup- taylor mentally prepped herself for the day (though there is nothing much to prepare because it was her day off). Her arm knocked off an empty plate on the table while trying to reach for her phone in her bag, “oops,” she stammered, the plate, however, hovered about in the space close to the floor before lightly placing itself on the tiles. oh shit, taylor thought to herself, kicking herself silently for not being able to control her powers. She cleared her throat to break the silence, “sorry.”
