Taylor choosing Sadie is so important. Because we wouldn't cringe as much if it was someone Dylan's age who could pass for young. And that's my real problem with 30 year olds playing teenagers EVERYWHERE. You see them entering age inappropriate relationships and you think it's okay because the actors are the same age. But she's playing a character your age. So maybe at 16 you are as mature as a 27 year old. So maybe it's okay. Maybe it's not as bad. And that's why Taylor got ATTACKED when this happened. Because we never viewed her as a child. She entered entertainment and the world decided she was an adult and had to own up to being an adult. But Sadie -who in all honesty is probably mature for her age if her acting is anything to show for it- Sadie we know from stranger things where she played a child with other children. They'll always be the KIDS from stranger things. Sadie who is literally the age Taylor was when all this actually happened. Sadie having the ability to appear mature be we all know she's a child and we're screaming at Dylan for kissing her because she's a child. It's just so important that we recognize that. Because that's how old Taylor was when everyone said, well she CHOSE to date him, she knew his age when the started. SHE WAS A CHILD AND HE WAS AN ADULT. AND TAYLOR WILL NEVER GET THAT BACK.
