@taylorswift I could write a novel about every memory I have from the last 13 years that involves you. I bought the debut album at Target after school one day, and I’ve been a Swiftie ever since. My first Taylor concert was Fearless Tour ‘09. My my MY how we’ve grown over the years! From arenas to multiple stadium shows sold out, its been SO amazing to watch you grow from some random person who’s music I listened to into someone that the whole world knows. The only way I can describe the past 13 years is “I’ve had the time of my life fighting dragons with you”. It has been the BEST TIME growing, learning, dancing with you. Thank you for speaking into my life and for being a role model and friend. Thank you for sharing your life with me and the Swiftie family. Thank you for being someone I’m proud to look up to. Your impact on my life is huge, and you’ll never know the magnitude of my love for you. First thoughts waking up after album listen #1: Cornelia street hit me in a place I didn’t know existed because I’ve been there and it’s miserable. And Soon You’ll Get Better HIT ME IN MY CORE. I know what it’s like to have family members, including a parent who are fighting cancer. I don’t really know what else to say about the song other than it hit me in my core and I’m not sure how to process it yet.

I love how the universe knows what you need when you need it. After a terrible long, exhausting, frustrating and at times embarrassing week I needed to be reminded that it is normal to have these moments in life, and that I don’t have to be perfect all the time. I also needed to be told to be kind to myself. Thank you @taylorswift for the pep talk tonight. In response, I will now wash my face, turn on my essential oil diffuser and go to bed early...because it’s what my mind, body and spirit needs.
