Disney Princess Legacy Challenge
Princess Belle, second born of the Sulani throne was a true islander at heart and a water loving mermaid. She also loved learning and reading. So much so that as a young adult, she completed online classes from the University of Britechester for a Language & Literature degree. Afterwards, she convinced her parents to let her start working on one of her dreams: to visit every library in the world with the hopes of eventually writing a historical book about each of the towns they reside in. Though they loved her ambition, King Keanu and Queen Ariel were very worried about Princess Belle traveling so far from Sulani. She was a mermaid after all, and they thrive best when near the ocean and in warm climates. The rest of the world was so … landlocked, and winter was coming.
Princess Belle swore to her parents that she did all of her research, showed them the travel itinerary that she created, and even purchased new clothing to fit the climates of where she'd be visiting. She was determined to get to the continent to learn more about what it was like, as she had only been there a few times when she was a child.
King Keanu wouldn't budge, however, Queen Ariel, reminded of how the travel bug bit her in her youth, convinced him to trust their daughter. At least she was telling them ahead of time and not suddenly running off as Ariel did from her family.
Eventually with her parents' blessing, and promise to call often and to return by Spring, Princess Belle left her tropical home in Sulani for her alma mater in Britechester.
Arrangements were made with the campus ahead of time to allow Princess Belle to have access to the campus for a week even though she already graduated. She stayed in the inn on the top floor of Pepper's Pub. Princess Belle, now just Belle, loved everything about her university's campus. The buildings, the food, and the books! When she'd take breaks from writing, she'd head to the basement of the commons for poetry night and karaoke. She soon became known as "the girl who sings and reads things". She even made some friends who were finishing up their degrees and gave her some information about places she could go on the continent and offered for her to join them sometime.
After Belle's week in Britechester, she was scheduled to travel on to Newcrest. She was a bit sad to go, as she had yet to learn everything about Britechester, nor had she had the chance to go visit Foxbury, but she knew that one day she'd be back.
