these past few months have been hell. my senior year was cut short and everything i waited for through out high school was ripped away. for four years i waited to celebrate with my friends and teachers. i dreamed about senior prom and the all-nighter. i pictured my senior skip day with all my friends. i imagined my graduation day with my entire family watching me walk across the stage, with my friends cheering me on. i never thought that my prom would be on zoom or that senior skip day would turn into senior skip months. or that i would graduate with a fraction of my class in one of 5 sessions and only have 2 family members watch. although senior year was not what i imagined or dreamed it would be, i’m thankful for the time i did get. i’m thankful for the friends i made and the teachers i’ve had. the class of 2020 is an unbreakable one. and the world has no idea what’s coming. i’m proud to be part of this historic class. and i can’t wait to see what we all accomplish
