Taylor Zakhar Perez showcasing the SS25 Lacoste Fashion Show Collection for @flauntmagazine
I've been filming and I took a small break to surprise my fiancée and to let her know that I was done for awhile because everything is in post production. Needless to say she almost got me with a skillet that she was making breakfast with. / @beaconcovehq-starters
Not gonna lie, getting some Rapunzel from Tangled vibes with that one, and believe me that's not a bad thing. Hopefully she put the skillet down eventually, though?
I'm totally loving it here especially the beach. I've spend at the beach since I got here. If you don't know me I'm Emma otherwise hi!!
@beaconcovehq-starters
The minute it warms up enough to venture into the water, you'll probably see me down at the beach as often as possible, too -- either that or the lake, one or the other. Hi, Emma, I'm Taylor!
I love snowboarding, it's a winter favorite sport. But I'm also good at skiing. I love both, the winter sports and the warmer weather activities. I can't get enough of them. I don't blame you. It's been awhile since I've been on this side of the state during the winter and summer time. I mean I visited my family back home but that would only be for a week or two. I'm looked forward to finding out as well. How have things been going for you?
I can manage to not fall over on a snowboard or skis, at least, so I'm counting that as a win. Had you explored around this area very much before moving here, then? I don't have the excuse of family in the part of the country, unfortunately, but now I guess I am the family, at least for my siblings. I've been keeping busy, getting some scheduling stuff hammered out -- I finally ventured back into social media for a bit, but my notifications are back to being firmly off again, ha.
There are times that is the best to have everything within walking distance. My place in the UK is like that. That might be a good idea to move within the few years. Well thank you for that, I appreciate it. It's nice meeting you as well. How long have you been living here for?
L.A. isn't exactly walkable at all, so it's been a nice change, especially since it's forced me to get out every now and then when I'm not running in eighteen different directions. Oh, where in the UK? (I should probably preface that I'm mostly familiar with the areas in and around London, but please don't hold that against me.) Technically I've had a place here for about a year and a half, but I've been gone so often for work that it's almost like I'm a recent transplant.
Oh! that too . I wouldn't mind if you help the more help i get it be quicker. NIce to meet you Taylor, and thank you i hope i enjoy my time here.
If there's one thing I'm good at, it's carrying boxes and following directions. ...Okay, so that's two things, but the offer still stands! I'm in Metropolis, if you ever need restaurant recommendations -- that's probably the one thing I'm pretty well versed in, so far.
I appreciate that. And I can imagine, seems like she is very passionate about it. Yeah, Pokémon will always be awesome no matter what age people get. Well work does that so no one can really blame you for not knowing. I'm just willing to start exploring. Do you have any idea? Most places that I know of is by Hope Shores because that is where I live.
In the way only a kid can be, absolutely. She's excited to give me updates though, so that's all that matters. Between press and events and shoots it's been kind of a crazy year, but having a bit of downtime has been nice -- for as long as it lasts, at least. Well, I'm starting to appreciate some of the places over in Hope Shores now, obviously, but I'm not going to say no to exploring more.
Oh wow, I was not expecting that one. I bet that was an interesting tangent. I can't really see Pikachu being named anything else though but I also bet some people have named their dogs 'Dog'. We could start with Metropolis and go from there if you are up for it.
I'm with you on that one, a Pikachu by any other name just seems odd, but she's got her mind pretty much set. Her mom said no to a family dog unfortunately, so I'll just have to keep wondering what she'd insist on naming a canine friend of her own. That sounds great to me -- I'm most familiar with the restaurants in Metropolis, but beyond that I'm still finding new places, it's great.
There is. Maybe I will still go ahead with that, but I don't want to rush into something. I think the best thing is to have a choice and then see how things go from there. That is true. There is plenty of kids around that age who might want to do that.
No, that's actually really smart, though. You have plenty of time to find something that really interests you and figure out how to go about it -- and I think most of us aren't going anywhere and are pretty much here to stay, so you'll have plenty of support when you do figure out what route to take.
As do I. I would much rather deal with them than anyone else. Well I do believe they offer bumpers which I get for the kids. It could be a funny story that you guys can tell around family get togethers if you do decide to go bowling.
Oh wow, I haven't bowled in years, but bumper bowling? It's been even longer. And that's actually kind of genius, since gives the kids something they can lord over being better than me at, too. I'm definitely going to put that on my list, thanks, man.
You might be right about that. I'm going to be looking downtown. That is the only place that I can think of that would even remotely have a wedding planner. They are very stressful to plan and my fiancée has been doing it herself with my help of course. But still it would be nice to have someone able to do this.
I can keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything, too? I've never tried to plan a wedding, but I've watched most of my siblings go through it, and it seems awfully stressful for an occasion that will (ideally) be a really happy one. Good luck with the planning though, for you and your fianceé!
"Those high maintenance plants can be the worse at times." Robbie continued to joke as well. The tension clearly easing from him as well. This was also something that he could do as well. There was no reason for Robbie to bolt at all nor was he going to. Hopefully Taylor didn't bolt or make up some excuse to leave or anything. Yeah, that was one thing he was worried about but for now he would try his best to put it out of his mind. "Not a problem at all. It's the Canadian in me and my mother always did teach me it would be rude so I tried my best to live by that." And he did. Did he faulter sometimes? Yes, yes he did. But he still tried. "I'll have to remember that Espresso tends to do that so if you want we can stay away from that." Robbie moved into the shop after him, a smile resting in his own lips. "My usual in the morning is a regular coffee with two creams and two sugars. But at night is Masala Chai Tea. To me its just relaxing at night. So I'll probably get that. Hopefully that helps a little bit."
"Oh, totally, the worst," Taylor agreed, his expression completely solemn despite his obvious amusement. "I have to say, I do appreciate the dedication to your mother's teachings -- but then again, I was raised by a midwest mama, so I totally get it, too." He scanned the menu board idly, weighing what options would help him warm up a bit without keeping him awake half the night; he had two furry terrors who wouldn't hesitate to wake him up if they thought he was neglecting their morning runs, after all. "I'm a lot better about things like that when I'm filming or shooting, unfortunately. It's a little harder to tell myself 'no' when I'm not," he chuckled, shooting Robbie a little side grin. "Two creams and two sugars -- a double-double, if I'm not mistaken? I've had chai before, that does sound like a pretty solid choice." He shifted just enough to bump his shoulder gently against Robbie's teasingly, and then turned his smile at the person behind the counter. "I think we're going familiar with a twist tonight -- medium matcha latte with honey for me, and whatever this guy wants," he added with a wink.
Not afraid to say Taylor Zakhar Perez. He’s very sweet and not to mention very attractive.
I missed this but I do completely agree! Seems like Taylor, is a very wanted man. @tayzp
Who do you think will hook up, break up or start drama?
For hook ups, I'm rooting for the following:
@tayzp & @robbie-amellhq
For break ups, here we go:
None surprisingly
Start drama:
@chxrlie-humman cause we all knew that Colifer was too perfect. @jxmorrison & @codonoghueism
The last thing that Robbie wanted to do was assume things so he wasn't assuming anything besides a friendship. Putting himself out there was something that terrified Robbie, if he was being honest. But he could at least try right? And again if nothing happened, friendship hopefully would. Smiling over at the other man, he shook his hand gently. "Well tell your houseplants that I said you're welcome." He joked lightly. "But I am glad that you did decide to come out tonight." Which was truth. "Shall we? I waited for you before going inside. One I didn't know your coffee order, two it would have been rude just to go inside without you." He was Canadian so being rude wasn't something that he ever would be. It just wasn't something he could do unless it was for a character that he was playing. Moving over to the door, he got it for Taylor.
"Eh, we're talking a spider plant and an African violet my sister left with me, so they're pretty high maintenance anyway," Taylor joked back, some of the tension easing from his shoulders. This, he could do -- the other man hadn't bolted immediately, after all, so that was as a good sign as any. His eyebrows lifted in surprise, and his smile grew at the gesture. "Thanks for waiting. Half the time I don't even know my coffee order these days, so I usually stick with matcha or green tea. I did get a bit of a taste for espresso in France last year, but that would probably keep me wired half the night," he added with a self-deprecating laugh. Taylor ducked his head in thanks, another surprised smile quirking the corner of his mouth as he stepped into the shop and took a slow breath to inhale the deeply familiar scent of coffee beans. "What's your usual, then? Maybe it'll help me make up my mind."

Nervous? Maybe a little bit but Robbie could do this. They were friends hanging out and to him Taylor didn't seem like anyone else that he had knew back out in California. So that was a good thing at least. Leaving his apartment, the walk to the Portside Coffee Shop wasn't that far from his flat. Standing there, he waited for the other man. Coffee first and then taking Taylor over to Glass Odyssey, the only person who had been there was Maura Higgins, he wasn't exactly open for business yet but he agreed to make the glasses for the Forever Ireland Pub. Once he seen the other actor, he smiled over at him. "Hi. Nice to actually meet you in person."
Taylor was familiar with the Beacon Cove boardwalk from any number of early morning runs he'd planned specifically to explore the town, but it felt completely different being here after dark. He'd committed himself to stepping outside of his comfort zone, and this definitely qualified; sure, he was familiar with some of Robbie's work, but not so familiar that he had any preconceived notions, so that was something. And hopefully, if nothing else, he'd at least get a new friend out of all this -- the entire point of putting himself out there again after over a year of semi-isolation. He couldn't quite help the answering smile as he spotted Robbie outside Portside Coffee, though, and Taylor offered him a handshake with an easy grin. "Nice to officially meet you too. I have to thank you for getting me out of the house -- I've probably been driving my houseplants crazy," he added with a laugh.
I am not sure about that. When I have come up with a few ideas, then I might have to see if there is if I decide on that. When it comes to sports, I don't know as much about other sports so I will have to see. As for sponsoring, I could do that anyway.
Ah, but that's the beauty of it -- there's LOTS of professional athletes in town that I bet would be willing to help out when it comes to other sports. Perhaps even other investors? If you decide that's something you're interested in, that is. And there seems to be plenty of people with kids at around the right age for youth sports leagues, I bet you could get a pretty good turnout there.
