Because the blog doesn’t really seem to be attracting a lot of interest (and also I wanna edit a couple of character designs...) I’m considering doing a reboot...

Most likely I’ll just start over at the actual beginning :P So right after the relics are actually made, so you’re not just gonna get a repeat of the story so far.

What is this witchcraft? An update?!

I still have a lot of ideas I wanna do with this AU...problem is they take place way in the future XD But I finally managed to write down this. Seems Merle has joined the Bureau of Balance and Taako... well... who knows what he’s planning right now.

So like hypothetically? Could Takko make Barry and Lup look like their og bodies?

Taako: Besides it takes some effort to do it every time Lup accidentally burns her body up… 

Lup: Pft. It takes about as much effort as it takes me to burn my body. Which is close to zero thanks to the Grand Relics. 

Taako: True…but its not exactly zero. 

For the purposes of this comic I’ve decided that the grand relics lets their users use spells associated with their particular school of magic (so transmutation for the stone, Necromancy for the bell and evocation for the gauntlet) without extending a spellslot. Still takes a bit of effort to do to, but not much. Its about as tiresome as using a cantrip. He’s gotta raise his hand and mutter incantations! He don’t got time for that!

Ever since I decided to make Lup and Barry swap bodies on occasion I realized I had to make Lup into a dragonborn. Of course she couldn’t take Carey’s body, she doesn’t breathe fire!

Its Taako-tuesday!...even though it been Wednesday for one and a half hour over here now...I spent that day fighting a dragon so I think I’m excused. 

Just wanted to draw some of Darkest-Timeline Taako, including his cat-form because polymorph is just great. I don’t recommend petting him... Regular animals may be immune to the thrall of the relics but polymorphed high elves aren’t.

Continuing on the “series” of bonus comics, of what each of the Grand Relics living in the Crystal Palace thinks of Taako’s pet. All of these take place around 2 years before the “main” comic. 

This time, the Animus Bell, using Barry’s original human body. 

The Philosopher’s Stone is just confused by the cat. The Phoenix Fire Gauntlet thinks he’s adorable. And now the Animus Bell thinks he’s a spy for the Raven Queen. 

Also “guest-starring” (kinda) my first idea for a TAZ-AU in which Taako turned into a cat... which actually did occur (kinda) in one of the live shows.

Polymorph is a fun spell, especially when you can cast it on yourself.
