Content is information that is attained through a to b or it is learned from a and a source. Content comes in many different forms and can be used to convey multiple messages. Content can be attained in my many different ways whether that be from watching Instagram to reading a billboard at a sports complex. I think the biggest takeaway this semester about content is that content isn't as abstract is it seems. Even though when you say content you might just think of information but it really is much more than just that. It is inevitable that we run into content because of social media today.

Learning

Learning is growing. I can't speak for the whole class, but I feel like I got a better understanding of learning this semester. This was from this class and all of my other classes. I think the best way to put learning in a definition is when you do something or think of way of something from experience. This could mean things that are learning experiences professionally or personally or anywhere in between. Failing can definitely help with learning because even though it seems like a negative thing, it can be made into a positive thing because we learn from things. Overall, we are constantly learning no matter what age we're at if you want to try to learn you will get the most out of learning.

how do you understand creativity?

I feel like after taking this class I have a better understanding of creativity because of our workflow this semester. There isn't a formula for creativity that leaves things open to interpretation. Everyone is going to have a different definition of creativity. This means that everyone will have a different understanding of creativity. I feel like I understand it from my perspective because of my own creative process but then I feel like I am constantly learning because I see other things from other people. Similar to collaboration I feel like the more exposure you have the better you will understand it.

How do you understand collaboration?

I feel like after taking this class, I have a better understanding of collaboration because we've been doing it all semester. Even though these Tumblr posts have been by ourselves and we've been creating them on each of our accounts, we have been collaborating as a group to help each other with communicating in a community with the hashtag #writ318mu. As far as understanding collaboration, I think that it's an ongoing process with more exposure I will better understand it each time. I think that I know how to communicate effectively in a way that I can listen to what the other person has to say while also having my own opinion on a topic but also working together with compromise.

how did content creation go for you? What did you learn that will help you write about your tips & tricks?

I thought content creation went really well and I actually enjoyed doing this project. I got to use what I use in my major, which is video, to tell a story or convey a message, and that's exactly what it did. I think that this was my favorite project overall. It definitely made me really focus on the ideas and themes that I was trying to talk about, especially with doing tips and tricks. I learned that engagement is. Are important because that's what makes all of the analytics.

Tip 3 HTWG

In my how to write guide, this is my third tip. I feel it's one of the most important tips because we need consistency as humans. That being said, if something is too repetitive, it can become boring over time. This is where I gave tips on overcoming that while being consistent. I talked about scheduling and how that can have an impact on what the viewer should expect. Do you think that these are points that the podcaster should know or do you think that this is a good tip that I provided? What do you think about me saying that I shouldn't think they should have a segment on the show to make the viewer wanting to come back for more?

Tip 2 HTWG

In my how to write guide, this is my second tip. In this tip, I explain about having a persona or character on a podcast. The main thing that I wanted to stress was you don't need to have this in order to be successful, but it does create some lore with being funny or being able to have clips out of it. Do you think that this should have been a tip or trick or something that I should have just kept to myself? Could I phrase this in a different way or do you this is properly said? I think the concept is definitely there and it was in my head. I'm just not sure if this should have been the way I said it. I think it is useful for people that.do have this in their podcast.

Tip 1 HTWG

In my how to write guide, this is my first tip. This is really important to talk about because although not all podcast, have guests cast are crucial to conversation. This is a great trip, because normally do you have to communicate and figure out chemistry on camera for a YouTube channel but you need to do that in life too with people you don't know or you do know. I'm just trying to figure out what else I could've put in here to help conjure my point to my audience of comedy podcast genre. Individuals there to help with my point, but is there anything else that I could've done better in the slide?

how will you integrate your created content so it's meaningful in your How to Write Guide?

I believe that I can integrate the content that I have created within the analysis to the how to write guide. I think that. Having meaningful content go out is better than having quantity go out. They always say quality is better than quantity and I think that rings true in this project. I want to use some of the tactics that I found in the sample of three YouTubers to be able to help the genre of comedy podcast with ways this can help them and their channels. Even if I would be able to help just one YouTuber, I feel like I would be helping in general, to this community.

how will having a good revision process help you moving forward beyond this class?

Similar to the other question, I think that a good revision process helps you in all sorts of ways in life. Whether this be revising a text, e-mail or marriage vows. I think it is important to. When writing your own work to go back and figure out what works and what doesn't. Whether this be spelling errors or the flow of how a sentences or paragraph is written. Humans aren't prefect and we are constantly learning. Learning to write in the most efficient way and the best content is what we strive to do. This why a good revision process is important for anything.

how are you rethinking style to design your How to Write Guide for a content creator audience?

I am rethinking the style guide to design my how-to-write guide based on the Youtubers that I am focusing on. The How to Write guide is a really cool idea because we get to cater to the audience that we have been analyzing. I feel like this is very interactive because as someone who is just a student and doing this project, I think it's awesome that we get to say what might be helpful for this genre. This made me think a lot about what I would want to say to them and what would be the most beneficial to them.

how will understanding content strategy help you in life?

Understanding Content Strategy will help everyone in this class in addition to myself for life in general. I think that no matter what career you go into, I think this will be helpful because we have to make strategic decisions sometimes in our jobs and within our own personal lives. Now you may be thinking, how can content strategy help with decisions in personal life. Well, that house that you have always been dreaming of getting you need to plan for financially, logistically, structurally, etc. This is like content strategy, these YouTubers have to figure out the finances for making a podcast, logically planning who is coming on the podcast, and structurally making sure the podcast has a flow, and so forth.

what does your final revision process look like?

My final revision process looks like a lot of content and I just need to look over some things and make sure it is good to be my final draft. The hardest part of the final revision process is putting everything together to have a continuous flow. That is the one thing that I have a hard time with when doing peepers is getting the content, knowing what I want to say, but then making it all go together so it's not choppy. I do feel as though this project has kind of helped me with understanding how to make everything go together because we've done it over a longer period of time.

how do these data elements answer your research question?

As I mentioned in a previous post, the elements that are in my research question talk about data that is in likes and views, which I go on to collect data about and helps answer my research question at the end of my research paper. If if it wasn't for the questions that I originally came up with for this paper, I probably wouldn't have any data to collect for have any sort of direction for these data elements. These key data points are helpful for the reader and for yourself as well and keep everyone on the same page.

what is data within your space?

In the space that I am watching these three channels is YouTube. The data within this space would be considered likes, views, subscribers, and dislikes. This data shows how people are perceiving the content that these channels are posting. No matter if the content that the creator is making is bad or good, this data will show how it's being perceived. Day. The YouTube space could be considered to be not that helpful, but if something isn't working on the channel the creator has the freedom to change what they're making or not to post at all.

How to Write Guide: how will your audience (content creators) influence the design of your HTWG?

I feel like they will see the data and understand how their analytics are to improve their ability to increase the likes and views on their channels. I don't think that there is a lot of things they need to fix, it is more things that they might to improve on in order to get the results they want. If they kept on going without this advice, it most likely wouldn't kill them as a channel because they had been managing fine before this. I will definitely think that this will improve the design of their channel in a positive way and after they see the data I think it will put things into perspective.

How to Write Guide: what matters about your audience?

What matters about my audience for my how to write guide is their way of thinking about the channel. My audience would be comics because that who runs the channels. I feel like I need to present it in a way that isn't too wordy and is to the point. Maybe it was more of a story channel that I was giving advice to, I think that I should write more out. I feel like it's definitely simpler to give advice to a comic that is constantly traveling and can just get information fast.
