Flicker was confused by the twoâs long silence for a moment, but then he assumed they were communicating possibly via comm link. He didnât want to interrupt them and remained quiet while waiting.
Finally Bulkhead addressed Flicker again and the small mech straightened a little to show that he was listening. Honestly, Flicker didnât mind either one of them, but⊠he felt like he needed some time to sort his processor out in peace. Then again, he wasnât sure if he wanted to be left all by himself so soon after his arrival to this place he still didnât really know.
âIf, um, if itâs okay, I could go with you,â he finally replied to Bulkhead. Bumblebee seemed like a fun bot, but he mightâve been a bit too energetic for Flicker to handle right now. Flicker really hoped he wouldnât mind.
Yeah, Bulkhead wasnât surprised. Bumblebee was everybodyâs friend, but unless you had a lot of patience or a lot of energy, you probably wouldnât get along too well. It was just luck that heâd so few friends fresh off the energon farm that Bee was the perfect first choice for new companion.
âYou can stay with me,â he assured immediately, waving for Flicker to follow. âIâm gonna have to move some stuff around, but Iâm not as bad as himâ being in Bumblebeeâs room is like watchinâ that human show Hoarders, but I think thereâs less dead things.â
The room he stayed in was not neat, splattered with paint, a pile of ruined canvases and general industrial scrap piled up in the corner. But it seemed like he made an effort to keep it some sort of orderly.
