This terrace was designed and built prior to me taking on this garden in Ipswich and the brick steps have always irked me. They didn’t work with the style of the space and materials used. What to do.... clad the steps with cheapo roofing battens painted black that’s what. Client was bowled over. And increasingly I’m enjoying improving the hard landscape as well as the soft. Design and build as well as gardening and planting.
