Tumblr's Drag Race Cycle 4 Reunion! (FINALLY!)
Announcement
Attention all TDR fans, alum and Cycle 4 contestants! As I'm sure comes as no surprise to a lot of you, Youtube is taking an excessively long time to "process" the reunion video (our girls have been experiencing this problem all cycle with their lip syncs as well). So we want to know what you all would like us to do! Do you want to wait for the official reunion video to finally process and be posted, or would you guys like to know who the winner is in a separate post? If we can get this post to 150 notes by midnight, we'll make a winner's post right away!
Just kidding! Check out the reunion video here! <3
The time has come…
To vote for TDR Cycle 4’s Fan Favorite!
The rules are simple:
To vote, simply enter the name of your favorite queen in the box at the bottom of this post. Do not reply to this post, only answer it. Using answers instead of replies ensures that each fan only gets one vote and that answers cannot be changed.
Bunnie Darling and Tatiana Mendez are ineligible from winning Fan Favorite as they are our two finalists competing for the crown, but you may vote for any of the other 11 queens from this cycle. Votes cast for Bunnie or Tatiana will not be counted.
If you are trying to vote from a tablet or mobile device, answers may not be enabled. If that’s the case, there isn’t anything we can do, you will need to vote from a computer.
Only the original post will have an answer box. Reblogs of this post will not be counted toward the final vote. Links to the original post are underlined, and you can also find it on the tdr4 blog.
You may like or reblog this post if you want, but these will not count as votes. You may not reply to this post for any reason, as it makes counting the votes difficult. If we notice a reply from you, even your real vote will not count.
To the queens: you are allowed to promote yourselves and your TDR sisters for votes, but please just keep it to Tumblr. This is for fan favorite, so we don’t want too many non TDR fans voting
Voting for Fan Favorite begins now and ends Saturday, April 26th at 11:59pm EST. Any votes made past the deadline will not be counted.
So, who was your favorite queen this cycle?

going to be announced at the Reunion next Sunday! What? Did you think we were really going to announce it tonight!? Stay tuned for one more week as we crown the winner of Tumblr’s Drag Race at our fourth (third?) Reunion Special (hopefully we actually get it up this Cycle).

Tumblr's Drag Race Cycle 4 Finale - The End is Queer
This is it ladies! After 11 fierce weeks of competition, our four remaining queens were asked to do three different looks with corresponding video assignments! Categories are: Genderfuck Queen, Hollywood Bombshell and Your Personal Drag!
Gentlemen start your engines, and for the last time may the best woman win!
Category is... Genderfuck!
Bunnie Darling
"Why I Should Win" Video
Pierretta: BUNNIE. This is definitely my favorite look out of all the finale looks. It’s totally not what I expected for a genderfuck look, but it’s so flawless and brilliant and I love it so much! I think it’s really interesting that the only obvious masculine thing you’ve got in this look is the beard, but by bringing the rest of your look to such a high camp drag level, you’ve come full circle from looking like a girl to looking like a guy to looking like a guy trying to look like a girl. The overexaggerated contours were a great idea to achieve this effect, and even though your eyebrows could have been cleaner, I love the shape of them. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like you padded out your chest and drew on cleavage? If so, I love that you did that since you were the one contestant who didn’t have to, and it definitely adds to this look. I also am in love with this outfit head to toe- the headpiece is great, the jewelry is fun, I want those shoes, and I DIED at the merkin you made with the banana and two tangerines poking out of the flowerbed. GENIUS. I also thought you did a great job with your speech- you brought up a lot of good points and definitely had me sold. 10s all around in this category!
Nicole: BUNNNIIIEEEEE!!! Your genderfuck look literally slays my existence. It’s definitely the best look in the entire family. I literally love every single thing about it. It’s totally not what I expected you to do and I am just SO impressed. I love it too damn much. That makeup looks so great on you! I love the sharp contours you drew on your cheeks. They were literally everything. Not to mention, the outfit is just EVERYTHING. I love the throwback to the fruit ladies, and making it more sisters of perpetual indulgence was just genius. I was worried for you in this category, but you completely changed my mind on you. So impressed!
Homely: When we decided to do genderfuck, I KID YOU NOT, I didn’t think any of you would floor me like this. I assumed everyone would just throw together same lady and some non-lady clothes together. Then you come out here in THIS. I’m actually so in love with this look that I’m currently crying and hyperventilating. I cannot. This is so clever and so creative and so Bunnie. The accents of fruity jewelry are what really did me in. And that headpiece is to die for. This outfit is better than I expected for this section of the finale. And I thank you for killing me like this. There are so many details to this entire outfit, that every time I go back and look at it I notice something new. Amazing. I also really liked your video, and I think you did a great job convincing us to choose you as the winner of cycle 4.
Lacy: BUNNIE! THIS IS HOW YOU DO GENDERFUCK! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! Without QUESTION, this is my favorite of all the genderfuck looks. I’m actually slayed. SLAYED! The paint is beautiful up close and from afar. The excessively dark contouring gives the illusion of both bone structure AND facial hair which was just SUCH a smart choice. It really works so fucking well. Your eyes are also blended beautifully and I really love the color selection. Your brows are a little shaky looking, but that’s it. That’s all I have bad to say about your paint. OH! And I’m so happy to see good liner from you AGAIN! Ugh. Love the paint. Now the outfit. Ugh. Love the outfit. Seriously. Stop. JUST STOP. STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND COME TO NYC AND PLAY WITH ME AND RETTA! I love EVERYTHING about the outfit. I really want the print you used for the top ;) You look like Carmen Miranda and Jafar had a baby and I just… I’m speechless. I honestly have nothing bad to say. I love it. Then we get to your “Why I Should Win” video, and babe, you sold me. I loved that you weren’t afraid to acknowledge your talents and talk about them. You’re definitely one of a kind, and we’ve loved having you in this competition. The only thing I noticed was that your beard was hanging on for dear life, especially towards the end ;) Thank you for being such a strong and confident player in this game we call Tumblr’s Drag Race – I hope we see the rise of some great faux queens because of your presence and performance with us <3
Fever LaRoux
"Why I Should Win" Video
Pierretta: I’m so confused here….I’m in love with everything about your paint (including the cute little curlies on your chest), and the pink army hat was definitely a good starting point (I don’t know if you saw but I just finished making a set of costumes with hats like that!) but then when I scrolled down and was shocked by the rest of your outfit. The army coat could have been interesting if styled differently, but with that dress the whole thing is just so bulky and unflattering and makes me sad! Again, I like the idea of the bullet holsters, but they need to be in a different outfit than the rest of the clothes you’re wearing. And then THE SHOES AND SOCKS. WHY? Just because this is genderfuck doesn’t mean you’re excused from being stylish and sexy and I literally don’t understand why you thought those were a good idea to wear. I was also underwhelmed by your speech video- you did cram a bunch of good points into a short amount of time, but it wasn't fully convincing and was missing the charisma that we saw in your audition video.
Nicole: For your genderfuck, I really have mixed emotions. I feel like the neck up is a YAAAAAAAAAASSSSS, but the outfit is literally what the fuck? The MUG literally slays. I think that out of all the girls you had the best mug for genderfuck. It was literally a perfect mix of masculine and feminine. The outfit is an entirely different story. I can’t even believe these shenanigans on the outfit! WHY?!? Is my main question. Those damn shoes literally had me rolling I can’t even believe you would wear those. I think I would have liked it a lot better if you were wearing like combat boots or something, but those shoes are just unacceptable as hell. I will say though, I did like the chest hair peakin out from the top. For your video, I think that it was okay. I would have liked it if it was more heartfelt and shown more of you as a person. It’s always my favorite part of the finally, and it was a bit lukewarm for me here. Overall, you did an okay job in this section.
Homely: This look made me actually laugh out loud. It’s so funny and somewhat of a big “fuck you” in comparison to everything else you have given us. The swirly chest hair was actually ingenious. That’s my favorite detail of all 4 of you girl’s genderfuck looks. And I love your eyes as always. I don’t have a problem with Fever’s sleepy eyes at all, and never have. Also, the hat is great for a fuck gender kind of look. Then after those details, this look flops for me. The shoes are painful yet make me laugh. The outfit is nowhere near as good as I’m used to seeing from you. I could see where you were going with this, then it just feels like it never made it all the way there.
Lacy: Miss Fever… this look is half and half for me. You fucking NAILED the paint, but the outfit choice wasn’t my favorite. Let’s start with the paint. It’s very traditional Fever with some smart edits, particularly the size of the brows and obviously the facial hair. You really look incredibly sexy. Like… damn. You pulled those lashes up AGAIN and I LOVE YOU FOR THAT. It really elevates the entire look. I also love the blunt lining on your lips and would encourage you to do that again in other more traditional drag looks. I’m very impressed with how realistic your facial hair looks here too (you said you let it grow out, but I’m assuming you must’ve embellished with some makeup, and you did that very well). Amazing job on the paint. HOWEVER, the outfit, while gender-bending, is just plain ugly. Sorry ‘bout it :\ The most offensive part for me are the shoes. Like… NO! NO NO NO! I love that you made the bullet belts, I just wish you would’ve used them as the masculine piece in a more feminine costume. Your outfit in general is missing some feminine elements and reads really clunky. I do love the hat though, I just wish you had pulled different inspiration from it. I’m slightly upset because I really envisioned you NAILING this challenge. As for your “Why I Should Win” video… I don’t think it did you any justice. I think I’ve said it before, but you kind of come of a little conceited on camera sometimes. I know this can be an awkward question to answer, but a little humility goes a long way. I still love you and know that you’re a genuine queen because I’ve seen you take critiques to heart and really use them to improve your drag without being combative or broken. You’re a fabulous queen and you’re now a WORKING queen, so keep up the good work and I expect to see great things from you! <3

"Why I Should Win" Video
Pierretta: I have such mixed feelings about this…there are parts of it I love, and parts I hate. Starting from the top, the hair is definitely interesting and I like the idea of a spiked up punky hairdo, but I found it distracting with the top part being so tall and spiky, and what’s up with your hairline? From your photos it looks to me like it’s not actually resting on your head, which is weird. I like the makeup a lot, especially your lashes, although the eyebrows could have been cleaner. The necklace you chose works really well with your boy chest and gives me sort of an Egyptian ancient priest vibe, and the corset was a smart idea as well. I do like the jacket, but I’m not sure it was right for this look? And then the bottom half of this look I just really disliked. That skirt is terrible, and I am SO confused by the one jean short leg peeking out of the bottom. Yes, genderfuck is about mixing masculine and feminine, but not like that. I don’t hate the shoes you chose in general, but I feel like they’re too girly to go with the character you created, and from your pictures it looks like they’re navy blue rather than black, and therefore don’t match anything else in your outfit. Your speech video was short and sweet, and being the underdogof the finale with having been in the bottom so many times, your determination and positivity really shone though, which I loved.
Nicole: Honestly, I was shocked to say the least when I saw this. Initially, I didn’t know how to feel about it. I have been thinking about it now for a while to determine whether I love or hate it, and now I realize that I almost like it. All of the elements are there, but some of it is just so “what the hail?” The main problem with this, for me, is the outfit. None of it goes together at all! I know Genderfuck is the mixing of masculine and feminine, but I think that the outfit here was just a mess. All of the elements were quite random. For example, that skirt and those jean shorts…. What in the hail!? Also, that jacket is just??? I would’ve probably liked that jacket if it was black just because it would go with the more leather punk vibe, but all together this outfit just looks a mess. For the mug, I like the eyes quite a bit, just needs some more blending in that crease. The facial hair looks great here and so does the eyebrows. THEY HAVE COME SO FAR! I AM SO PROUD OF YOUR EYEBROWS! That hair I also wanna comment on. I wasn’t expecting that shit the most out of everything. I just CANNOT even. It reminds me of a punk rock Dragon Ball Z Goku, which I can’t decide if I ultimately like or not. Last, but not least, is your video. I think that your video was a bit rushed and less heart felt. Usually, this is my favorite part of the finale because it shows more of who you are as a person. We didn’t really get to see you in the video, we got reasons for you to win, but not why you enjoyed the competition or how it has changed you. Overall, you did okay in this category, but I think it was your weakest.
Homely: I am so confused with this look because I love it but I also hate it. Okay, no I take that back. I like everything MINUS the Dragon Ball Z hair and the peeping jean shorts. If you didn’t look sexy in facial hair, I might not have liked it. But alas, you do. Your eye makeup really looks great. It looks like you stepped it up so much. Looking back at your audition look, it is blatantly obvious that you have grown more than anyone in this competition. Your eyebrows alone are a testament to that. I do understand the overall look you were going for. You grabbed bits and pieces of your male form and your female form and put them all together for this. I’m just not seeing cohesiveness. I like most of the aspects separately, but throw them all together and it’s just confusing. The jacket and the shoes are great and the the skirt thing and jean shorts kill them. But it’s different, and I like different.
Lacy: Oh Mya… while I really love this look, I think you kind of missed the gender-bending mark. You incorporated some feminine elements into the look, but ultimately, your look still reads primarily masculine. I think you did a really good job painting on the facial hair and you definitely look sexy, BUT I’m gonna clock you on using the same makeup as you have in your Hollywood Bombshell look. That was quite disappointing for me because I would’ve loved to see you take the paint in a different direction. I do love the nip action we’re seeing though ;) As for your outfit, it looks a little unorganized. Particularly, I’m not understanding the choice of shorts under the dress. I also think the corset is placed too low. Ultimately, I think it would’ve really helped sell your look if you posed femininely in your shots. I just expected a bit better from you for this look because your looks are usually pretty well thought-out, and I’m not getting that as much from this look. As for you “Why I Should Win” video, the first thing I want to point out is how hilarious the cat cameo was haha ;) But honestly, I was proud to see you say the things I would’ve said if I were in your position. You turned your negatives (being in the bottom 4 times) into positives and focused on how much you’ve improved because REALLY that has been your strongest suit throughout the competition. You were able to sell yourself well in under a minute which in and of itself is impressive. Regardless of what happens with the results of this finale, I want to thank you personally for being such a great sport this cycle. I don’t think it comes as a surprise that you’ve consistently been one of my favorites throughout this competition, and you’ve done me so proud. I’ve had such a great time mentoring you, and I hope to see you continue growing! You did mamma proud, so job well done on finishing out this competition with a bang! <3
Tatiana Mendez
"Why I Should Win" Video
Pierretta: This is definitely my least favorite look we’ve gotten from you. I can see what you were going for, but it could have been pushed so much farther and as is, kind of missed the mark. In your description you mentioned that you felt like this look would be better on someone else and I could see that, but on you it just feels too feminine. To me this was more “butch queen first time in drags” than deliberate genderfuck, like you were going for a cute femme clubwear look but forgot your wig, boobs, and tuck. I can definitely see the Adrien Gemini influence, but I feel like you should have had some more butch elements to your makeup and outfit to balance out the feminine, and while I can see that you were trying to do that with your poses, they just came out as really unflattering (especially the second one). I love most of the makeup you did and that smoky eye is flawless, but the red parts of your lashes are bugging me, not only because they’re uneven but because they distract from the beautiful darkness around your eyes. Also this is really random but I love that you’re wearing one red glove and one black one, and the bag is adorable. Even though your look in this category was a miss, I loved your speech. It seemed very heartfelt, and really showed your enthusiasm and dedication to this competition and it was really cute how you took the time to address your sisters rather than just talking about yourself. Your video made me forget about how much I didn’t like this look and brought me back over to your side!
Nicole: For this category, I think that definitely the best part was your video! I LOVED what you had to say. Usually, every cycle this video is really who decides it for me, and I definitely loved yours. It seemed so heartfelt and genuine. My favorite part was definitely how you talked about your other competitors. I’m glad that you just talked about them as your friends and you didn’t feel the need to bombard them. I loved your video so damn much. For your look in this category, I’m not really getting genderfuck from it. I’m definitely getting that Adrien Gemini vibe from it, but more of another lezzie interpretation. You definitely have feminine aspects in there, but you don’t really have that many masculine elements in there. The outfit all and all was just feminine. I did like it, but I wanted a bit more of masculine elements in there to match the category better. For the mug, I loved the makeup. It was something different from you and I really liked it. Overall, you look good in this category, but you didn’t fully execute this category due to the lack of masculine elements in it.
Homely: I was caught so off guard by this look! And I love that! Literally every single look you’ve given us throughout the competition has been radically different from the last. You are so verse~ Haha. I personally am happy with where you went for this genderfuck drag. Even if you don’t quite like it on yourself, I believe you’re selling it pretty damn well. I can completely see the Adrien Gemini influence. The color palette, the hair, the clothing choices. All you’d need is his signature sunglasses, and I wouldn’t be able to tell you both apart. Nahh… that’s not true. Tati is too fishy. I could point Tatiana out in a crowd of 300 drag queens and trans women all mixed together. I always say this, but I’m always so excited to see what crazy LOOK you can give us. And I’ll be totally honest, your video stating why you should win made me tear up.
Lacy: Oh Tati :( I hate to say it, but you really missed the mark with this look, and it’s my least favorite submission we’ve gotten from you to date. I think that outside of the confines of this assignment, the look is BOMB and I would love to see you rock that look out some time, but really babe, there is nothing gender-bending about this look at all for me. You still look like a sexy woman. The exaggerated and dark smoke eye actually looks really great on you. And I think the red lash ends were a fun addition, but the one on your right eye isn’t angled correctly. This look is really cohesive and I want to be able to give you good marks for it, but it just doesn’t meet the assignment for me. Sorry babe :( As for you “Why I Should Win” video, it was really nice to see a soft, humble side to Tait. To me it seemed like you were getting pretty emotional, and it kind of broke my heart a little bit <3 Your speech definitely had all the elements of a pageant queen through and through, so this skill will do you well in the Orlando scene. You also looked incredibly beautiful on the moving camera as well with this look. BUT I think my favorite part was the section where you acknowledge and commended your other sisters for a job well done because really, job well done to all you girls. You really snatched my heart, Tati, and have a fan in me until the end of time. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful addition to the competition and turning out some of the most iconic looks this competition has ever seen. You’re truly a force to be reckoned with <3

Bunnie Darling
Bombshell Monologue Video
Pierretta: Even before I read your description or watched your monologue video I immediately got Roxy Hart meets Marilyn Monroe, and you did a great job blending together two classic bombshells who I wouldn’t expect to combine so nicely. Even though parts of your makeup are a little sloppy (the brow cover and the bits of rogue eyeliner) I really like all the shapes and colors you used, especially the glitter shadow, the little heart under your eye, and the tiny lips paired with cartoonishly creased eyes. The costume is a little cheap looking- as a general rule I hate that foil dot faux-sequin fabric because it never looks expensive, although I’m glad the rhinestones are there to bring it up a notch. I’m curious as to what this dress was originally because it really is Marilyn meets flapper meets showgirl and doesn’t fully fit into any one time period or genre, which is interesting. It’s funny that both you and Tati picked the same monologue, but I liked that you made the script more your own rather than duplicating the speech patterns and inflections from the movie and brought to to a more high energy, almost manic place. Throughout the competition you’ve proved your acting chops, and this video was no exception!
Nicole: I love your hollywood bombshell! It coordinated very well together and made great sense with the category. I love the red detailing all around. My favorite part of all though is definitely the makeup! I think that the eyes are probably my favorite eyes you ever gave us! The only thing I didn’t really like about it is the more flappery side of it. I usually don’t like flapper/cabaret style unless it is spot on, and here it wasn’t. For your monologue in this category, I was YAAAAAAAASSSSSING all the way along. It was just perfect. The lines were just perfect to your character and how you are as a queen, and it was nice to see that in you.
Homely: So I know that I said you killed me with your genderfuck look… but I lied. This killed me too. The transformation from a lady in fruit to this masterpiece is marvelous. I’ll admit that the eyeshadow is a little crunchy in places. But that doesn’t even seen relevant compared to everything else you gave us. Your cute pouty red lips are so perfect with this look. I thought you did pretty well with your monologue. But, seeing both yours and Tati’s (since you both did the same one), she might have over shined you a little in that aspect. I always love hearing you talk. There is something about your voice that makes me happy.
Lacy: Oh Bunnie, you just look so adorable and beautiful in this look. I think what I’m in love with most is your paint. You managed to successfully contour while still maintaining a porcelain complexion and it really takes my breath away. You didn’t rely on your genetics to get you through this look either, and that makes me the most proud. You drew on some huge ass eyes and threw some glitter on them and you overextended that upper lip to give us an exaggerated, yet gorgeous Hollywood starlet look. The hair works perfectly for the look and works even better considering you chose to be inspired by Roxie Hart. I also love love LOVE the heart mole because it’s very Bunnie and really pulls the whole makeup look together for me. The outfit is cute as well, albeit not my favorite, particularly for the “bombshell” aspect of the assignment. It’s reading a little cheap and a little cheerleader, BUT I get what you were going for with the Roxie inspiration. I think my least favorite part are the gloves. If they were a solid red and covered your entire hand I think it would’ve worked better and read less cheap. I don’t *hate* them, I just don’t love them as much as I love you ;) As for you monologue, I think it’s kind of unfortunate that you and Tati picked the same one! And even more unfortunate for you, I think she did a *tad* bit better. Your energy was definitely a lot higher than hers, which I loved and appreciated, but I think that your delivery was sometimes a little too frantic or rehearsed for my taste. It had all the right ingredients for an A+ performance, but you’re just gonna have to settle for an A from me for this one ;) Overall, while this may be my least favorite of your three submissions this week, I still really love it and am so impressed with what you were able to do <3
Fever LaRoux
Bombshell Monologue Video
Pierretta: This was definitely your strongest category this week, and you look absolutely stunning! This is the type of look I was picturing when we came up with this category, and you pull it off flawlessly. That wig (other than the hairline) is stunning, and really does read as drag Marilyn. The makeup also does a good job of blending your signature makeup with Marilyn’s look, and the beauty mark was the icing on the cake! The fabric on the dress, like Bunnie’s outfit for this category, does read a little cheap to me, but I do love the silhouette of it, and the fact that it’s sheer at the bottom is interesting and gives the look a little something unexpected. I love that you’ve experimented so much but it’s nice to see that the more classically pretty Fever who started out this competition is still there! The look was definitely the standout for me, but you did a good job with the monologue as well. It’s funny because all of the judges thought separately that you sounded more like Anna Farris than Marilyn Monroe, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing! Marilyn’s got a hard voice to imitate so I think it was smart to not try to replicate her exactly, so you could focus more on what you were actually saying. Nice job all around!
Nicole: BITCH!!! YAAAAAAASSSSS! You look SO damn good in this category. This is probably my favorite that you look in all of the categories. I definitely love the breasticles that you have going on here. GAT DAYUM! The gown is gorgeous as well. Very fitting to the category. Also, that HAIR is just perfect. You look so Marilyn here and it’s due to that big, hollywood hair. Lastly, that mug is just to die for. Something about it looks different from your typical mug, and I really love it. Whatever it was made you look fantastic. Overall, look wise in this category you KILLED it. I think you stayed the truest to this category. For the video portion, I felt that it was pretty entertaining. You did a great job with your monologue and it was fun to watch. Overall, you killed this category. I am so proud of what you gave us here!
Homely: You look amAZing. And your monologue was great. I was so happy to see a little Marilyn from one of you queens. And you did Some Like It Hot! Iconic. Your makeup looks really good here. Overall, I’m so happy with it. The eyes look phenomenal, and really capture a Monroe-esque version of the Fever we’ve grown to know and love. I am a fan of that gold gown, and I think it makes you look gorgeous. I do, however, wish the titties were just a tad bigger buuuuuut you know how that goes. We are men, and unless you can afford a breast plate we gots ta use our imagination sometimes.
Lacy: This is my favorite submission from you this week by a MILE, which is shocking to me because I was most worried for you with this assignment. You look like a sultry, classic beauty and I’m seriously living for you. You mentioned that you switched up your makeup for this look, but I must admit, I’m not really seeing any changes. That being said, I think the neutral color palette and including the white liner were both great choices to make for your character and elevated your look completely. You’ve really become quite the talented painter throughout the competition and I’m so proud to see it. The ONLY thing I don’t dig about your look from the shoulder’s up is that hairline, but hey, lacefronts ain’t cheap so I’mma let that one fly. Especially since that wig is so damn BOMB I can’t even. Then we get to your dress and good lord I love it so much! You made this? Good werk! It’s draped beautifully on the top, and while I think the fabric could’ve read really cheap, it doesn’t here and I love it so much. If I were to critique the body shots at all, I think your hips pads might be placed a *bit* too low, but other than that, A+ babe. You look fabulous and had my personal favorite bombshell look <3 Your monologue was also pretty cute. It wasn’t as strong as some of your other sisters, but I still liked it. I think you could’ve played it a bit more dumb, and I think you were more Anna Farris than Marilyn Monroe, but I love Anna anyway ;) Maybe you could’ve given it the little punch it needed to be a flawless performance if you had memorized your lines instead of reading them haha ;) BUT good werk, gorgeous. You definitely weren’t giving us the fuzzy end of the lollipop with this submission! <3

Pierretta: This was definitely your strongest category for me as well. This is a stunning look head to toe, and I love that you’ve embodied the rich bitch Hollywood starlet from your face to your outfit to your poses (and that Angelina leg!) The hair is simple, but it works for your character and the rest of your outfit just looks so expensive! From the jewelry to the fur to the gown to the shoes, it’s all gorgeous. While I do like the black poof on the shoulder of the dress, it does clash with the coat and looks too busy in the photos where you’ve got both, so I kind of wish you had chosen one or the other but I do appreciate your effort in bringing the dress you used to a more couture place. Now, let’s talk about the makeup. I’m about 85% sure that this is the same as your genderfuck makeup minus the bottom lashes and facial hair, which I found really disappointing because even if it’s not literally the same makeup, it’s close enough that I can’t tell the difference and the whole point in giving you these different categories was for you to show us completely different looks. I would have loved to see a softer, more blended eye and a different brow with this look, but the rest of your face does look good! Your monologue made me smile because I was just watching Mean Girls earlier this week and thought that part would be perfect for this part of the challenge, so I’m glad you went with that! I really enjoyed watching your video, and you did a great job not only delivering your lines, but evoking Gretchen’s frantic mannerisms, plus all your facial expressions were really fun! Very nice job!
Nicole: I think that this is definitely your best category. You look so gorgeous from head to toe. I love the outfit the most out of everything presented here. That dress is so pretty! It fits you so perfectly and looks nice on that bawdy. My favorite part is definitely that detailing around the waist. Sickening as hail. The coat as well was just phenomenal! It looks so elegant on you and helped keep the theme. The only thing that made it look weird was just the shoulder stuff. You weren’t able to put that hooker fully on because of it! I think it still worked though, because it made you look like you didn’t give a damn! For the mug, girl. That is the same damn makeup you had for the Genderfuck. I don’t mean replicating it, I mean literally the exact same mug, before the stubble and purple lips. You could’ve at least tried to make the mugs more different if you were gonna do that. I’m a bit disappointed with that. For your monologue portion, I really loved that you choose Mean Girls. Bitch, you look exactly like her, so I thin that it was a perfect fit for you. You acted pretty well and did an amazing job. Overall, in your best category, you did pretty well.
Homely: You are so beautiful. This look screams Hollywood glamour house down boots. It IS the same eye makeup as the genderfuck look, right? To me they look identical and I wish I hadn’t noticed that. I know we asked a LOT for you girls this week, but it is the finale and I would have been much happier with this look if the eyes weren’t as similar. That dress looks SO GOOD ON YOU. It really gives you the most dreamy and feminine body. And that fur jacket is everythiiiiiiiiing. This is by a light year my favorite look Mya has ever been in. You are stunning, my dear. I wish you darkened the contour around the hairline and brought the hairline down further, though. When I look at this, I go straight to that forehead. I always bring my wigs down lower than my natural hairline because I’m insecure about my forehead and try to hide it. But it will really feminize your face even more.
Lacy: Mya Soul… you look GREAT as a Hollywood Bombshell and I’m so here for it! Quite honestly, I think you could pass as a real starlet if you hopped on the red-carpet with this look, and I’d be rooting for you to win an award ;) Your paint, unfortunately, isn’t my favorite (and I’m pretty sure it’s the same base paint as your genderfuck look so shame on you if that’s the case). This is a little disappointing since you were ON POINT last week with your paint. Your eyebrows look patchy and the blunt, unblended crease really isn’t my favorite on you. However, you did that bottom liner again and it looks great and your contours are blended for the gods! I’m so proud to see how far you’ve come with painting, and I think that with a little more practice, you’ll be unclockable. Also, I want to see you pull your wigs down in the front a bit more because your big man forehead can get a bit distracting ;) (I used to have this problem too) Then we get to your outfit… lord mamma JESUS WHERE DID YOU GET THIS?! The silhouette of the dress is very glamorous and then you just conveniently pull out this fur coat? DONE. WITH. YOU. I’m not really a huge fan of the shoulder piece, but I appreciate that you were trying to drag this look up a bit more – I just unfortunately think it takes away a bit from the look. You’d look like a million bucks without it and right now you’re lookin more $999,999.99 ;) As for your monologue… YAAASSS! YOU DID MEAN GIRLS! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! You made a smart choice because it’s VERY Mya. I think that your energy was high, but it should’ve been a *bit* higher to match Gretchen because she is so OVA in the movie. And I wanted you to say “hoops” funnily like she does in the movie. ;) But really, I liked your performance. Especially the end. You made me laugh, and that’s what Mya Soul is here for! Overall, very solid performance from you gorgeous – you did me proud! <3

Pierretta: I had seen photos of you looking flawless as Marilyn Monroe so that’s what I expected from you for this category, but this look definitely had me pleasantly surprised (there ya go!) This was an interesting interpretation of this theme, and you pulled it off so beautifully! Your makeup is gorgeous as always, and I’m especially in love with all the colors going on with your eyeshadow. I’m not sure how historically accurate it is, but I love it! Looking at your outfit as a whole, I really love that it reads as authentic flapper while being sprinkled with modern touches like that eyeshadow, the shooting star tights, and the skull and crossbones ring. The more vintage parts of your outfit (the dress, pearls, fan) look expensive and realistic rather than a cheap Halloween costume, and I’m glad that you were able to pull off a flapper look without the cliche fringe dress. The only part of this look I’m not crazy about is the hat because I would have much rather seen a cloche or a little fascinator, but since the rest of the outfit is so great I didn’t mind it all that much. It’s funny that both you and Bunnie picked the same monologue, but I was impressed that you more echoed the movie version without it feeling forced or overacted. While the way you edited your video was cute, I do feel like the old timey video effect and the sound effects were a bit distracting from your performance (also the weird cuts at the end), although I did like that you put in the music and that you changed the lyrics slightly to be more custom to you. Finally, I was really impressed with your singing at the end because that’s a talent that we hadn’t seen from you previously, and you’ve really got a set of pipes on you! Fantastic job all around in this category!
Nicole: I LOVE YOU IN THIS CATEGORY! YOU ABSOLUTELY KILLED THIS CATEGORY. I first of all am in love with this look. Usually, I don’t like the whole flapper style, especially in drag, but you have changed my mind entirely on that! It looks so stunning on you. I am just blown away with how you look. My favorite part is definitely just the outfit as a whole. Love it so much. Not much else to say about the look except for it was flawless. 10’s across the board. For your monologue, bitch I was also slayed here. Your acting in it was phenomenal! You did such an excellent job in this category, I am almost speechless. Definitely my favorite category from you.
Homely: I don’t even want to critique this. It is 100% too flawless for me to critique. The look to the monologue to the facial expressions to the poses. Done. I’m obsessed with this style on you. And I know that you are too. I will say your monologue had me at the edge of my seat, because I was scared you’d forget your lines. But you delivered incredibly. Wise choice on Chicago. I wanted to do a Chicago challenge this cycle, but all of us judges had too many ideas.
Lacy: Tati, I was SHOCKED with your Hollywood Bombshell look! Once again, I came into this thinking I knew exactly what you were going to do and then OOP you switched it up without warning. I really can’t get over your eye makeup this week. Like… just wow. It’s so gorgeous. The blending is SUPERB and everything is so right about it. I wish we had seen a different cheek shape from you though. We’ve see these very subtle cheek contours A LOT from you, and I think it would’ve been a nice change for you to really carve out some juicy, solid contours for a bombshell look. Yours definitely don’t look bad by any means, I just think you missed an opportunity to try something new. As for your outfit, it’s very Chicago and I really like it. What really makes the entire look for me is the choice of accessories, my favorite being the fan! The only problem I have with this look is that it’s reading a bit masculine for me. Normally, this wouldn’t bother me, but the fact that this is a Hollywood Bombshell challenge, the masculinity kind of takes away from that. I think it’s a great look, and I applaud you for taking an unexpected direction, I just think you could’ve done so much better with this look. HOWEVER, when we get to your monologue performance, you SLAYED. My favorite by far. At first I was worried it was the smart editing that made the performance for me, but even after making a conscious effort to analyze your performance outside of that, you really did the best. You were smart to move around because you were the only girl to do that. I’m glad we got to see that signature Tati walk again too ;) Your energy wasn’t as high as Bunnie’s, but gorl, you really killed me with this challenge. I believed it. I believed you. And I am SO proud <3 Good job, Miss Thang!
Category is... Personal Drag!
Bunnie Darling
Pierretta: My favorite thing about this look is that it reminds me a lot of your full-body cast shot, but brought to a whole other level, which is what this competition is all about. No more pedestrian outfits for Miss Bunnie, and I couldn’t be more proud! Seriously though, where are you getting all these amazing costumes? I love this look because it’s very you, it’s very drag, and it’s just a really fun and pretty look all around! The wig is a little bit plasticky looking but the color and style of it are so fun that I don’t mind, and I mean, you’re wearing a bunny ear headband AND a tiara, clearly anything tacky happening here is not by accident. Same goes for the outfit- it’s cotton candy goddess meets glamorous cougar, which I feel like is very much your aesthetic. Also, thank you for having nails!!! I know I've clocked you several times for not having them so I'm glad you pulled through here! The only real problem I have with this look is that weird vagina on the stomach that I really wish wasn’t there, but overall I’m in love and I’m dying that YOU’RE HOLDING AN ACTUAL BUNNY. I have to admit that I was surprised by your lipsync choice given this look and what I know about your overall aesthetic, but it was a fun performance to watch, and you did a great job of blending the more pop dance style of lipsync that would usually go with this song with your own little campy elements, and it’s obvious that you’re really confident and well-defined in your persona, which is great to see. You did such a fantastic job across the board with this final week, and you should be extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished here!
Nicole: Bunnie. This look is just so PERFECT I love it all the way around. It reminds me of the bunny girls that are in Final Fantasy. I love this look so much! The outfit is just gorgeous. It’s very glam and cute here, but also more mature. Your drag persona usually has a hint to older women and I can see it a bit here. I love how you incorporated an actual bunny in this final look. I thought it was clever and cute as hell. For the rest of the look, I think the makeup is just so gorgeous on you! I love the hints of pink and light beiges you incorporated into the eye. It just looks spectacular. Overall I am just IN LOVE with this look and your finale as a whole.
Homely: Yes. Ma’am. Come on Easter Bunnie! This is such a good look. I see the cougar aesthetic that you’ve always had updated with this newer and more defined version of your audition look. I really think this stays true to you and really shows us how much you’ve improved in the 2 months tdr has spanned. You’ve always been a legit queen in my eyes, and I’m glad to see you always improving and thinking up new and crazy ideas. This glamorous bunny just rolled out of bed Bunnie look is the perfect way to end this competition in my opinion.
Lacy: Nothing proves your worth of being a drag artist more than when you take drag in your own direction. Your aesthetic is pink, sparkly, and very old-school drag and EVERYTHING about this look is A+ fabulous. You’re truly one of a kind, and I’m glad to have helped mold you into the fantastic queen you’ve become throughout the course of this competition. I’m not always a fan of the blunt Bunnie contours, but they’re very Bunnie and work well when you’re in your own. The ONLY thing I want to change about your paint is your lips – they’re in desperate need of some liner. I’m also not a fan of the hairline, but the wig is so big, grand, draggy and Bunnie that I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also love that your brought in a bunny and some bunny ears for the shots :) Your outfit also screams to the aesthetic I’ve come to understand from you, Bunnie. It’s very old soul, but bigger than life itself with just a touch of cunty bitch. I love it. I love you. And then we get to your lip sync…. it was so much fun! Your camp aesthetic really shined through in this performance and I loved it. The only critique I have for it is that, while I love how high your energy was, it read a little frantic and chaotic at points. Just focus on honing everything in to make for a solid performance, and there’s definitely a market for you. And if you don’t find that market in Orlando, move to NYC and live with me and Pierretta because there’s CERTAINLY a market for you up here <3
Fever LaRoux
Pierretta: For me, this look was the opposite of your genderfuck one- I love everything from the neck down, but wasn’t crazy about the way you did your face. Your body looks great, and while there is a lot going on in the outfit, it all somehow works together, and I can definitely recognize your signature aesthetic. I can’t put my finger on what’s throwing me off about your makeup, but something’s not quite right. For one, your nose highlight is way more blocky and contrasty than in your other two looks which isn’t very flattering, and something about your eyes is making them look droopy and sleepy. The hair is cute, although the lace is distracting and if possible should be cut closer to the hairline so you don’t have a line going across your forehead. While your lipsync was not bad by any means, it was my least favorite out of the submissions we got, because I felt like it didn’t really have your soul injected into it. It was a good enough performance, but there was nothing truly recognizable or memorable about it and I wish you had been able to push yourself further in that aspect. Also, what are those shoes??? They look almost flat from what I can see, and I have to say I’m a little bit offended. Like you said in your speech video, you’re still on the path to figuring out just exactly who Fever is- I think you’ve been off to a really good start and you’re almost there, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes you next because I know you’ll be great!
Nicole: For this look, you look AMAZING. That outfit is literally everything. It’s so you and so gorgeous! I love the top and I love the corset. It literally looks so amazing on you. Not to mention, that bawdy is just everything! Those curves look great. The makeup though, I’m not really digging. The eyes look a little wonky in the face shot. Also, the nose looks a little jacked up too. Just needs more symmetry toward the end of the nose. Last, but not least, is the lipsync. I think that it was okay, but it wasn’t a lipsync for your MOTHAFUCKIN life. I did like the song choice though. Amen! Overall, in this category, you slayed me with the outfit, the mug was okay, and the lipsync was okay as well. This category was very middle of the road for me.
Homely: This is soooo Fever. Like, hands down - when I think of Fevah LaRoo, it’s this style. You look so snaaaaatched. I’m a little mad that the shoes are so short. But I guess I can get over that. ((But are they REALLLY a super short wedge? Or am I imagining that?)) You really do look stunning here. The outfit fits your body like the most expensive designer gorgeous glove that was hand-made by the Greek gods. It is beautiful. Of course, as always, your face is beat for the gods. The eyelashes look better placed here than they have been in the past, and it really opens your eyes up more. Sometimes I love a good sleepy eye, but then sometimes I’d like to know that the queen actually has eyeballs. You really did so well this week, and I’m always pleased with you.
Lacy: Let me just start off by saying that I LOVE your aesthetic. It’s the perfect combination of showgirl, camp and fish, but also very recognizable. Your paint this week is also very Fever. It’s my least favorite paint of the three looks you submitted this week, but it’s still pretty good. Your eyes look a little sleepy in this look, so I would encourage you to pull that liner up ever FURTHER! Your nose is also a little to contrasted and wide for my taste. But really, you blended the SHIT out of your creases and cheeks with this week and you really look incredibly beautiful. You’re a sexy girl, and I’m so impressed with your polishing this cycle. Then we get to your body… I’M DEAD! DYING! CAUGHT THE FEVER AND PASSED AWAY! Your body looks RIGHT in this look. Your hips and tits are proportioned FLAWLESSSLY. I love them. And the outfit is OH SO DAMN CUTE I WANT IT. You look incredible. I think this is the best we’ve seen a corset worn by anyone all cycle so bonus points to you for that. You lip sync wasn’t as fabulous as you are though. First of all, I was underwhelmed with the height of those heels ;) Other than that, it was a solid performance, but I would encourage you to inject some of your own personality into your performances to avoid falling into genericness. I know firsthand though that it’s a lot different to perform in front of a camera at home than it is to perform in front of an audience, so I have no doubt in my mind that you’re a fun performer. You finished the competition oh a high note for me, so you should be really proud. It’s been so much fun watching you grow throughout this competition, and I can’t wait to see where you go after this competition <3
Mya Soul
Pierretta: You look so pretty here! Out of the makeups we’ve seen from you, this is definitely the strongest. Some of the other judges didn’t like your bitch brows but I love them, I just wish that the inner corners had started a little higher up instead of coming out of the bridge of your nose. Your contours look great as well, and your lips look especially amazing in the face shots! The outfit is not really my taste but I can see that it’s very you, although I’m not understanding your choice of hair. I loved the wig you had on for the first half of your lipsync, and then felt like the switch halfway through didn’t really add anything, although it looked nicer in the video than it does in your photos, where it looks kind of ratty and gross in the back. For the lipsync itself, I was definitely a fan! It was a smart idea to film your lipsync in front of an actual audience when the opportunity presented itself because there’s totally a different energy that happens when you’re in front of a crowd rather than alone in your room, and you killed it. I love that you took one of the most popular songs right now and were able to perform it convincingly and yet still make it your own, and you have a unique and fun lipsyncing style that I know you’ll be successful with! You are totally the winner of this cycle’s “most improved” award and this mug proves that. It’s been fun watching you grow over the course of this competition and I’m excited to see you continue to move onward and upward!
Nicole: Before I talk about your look, I just wanna say YAAAAAASSSSS about you lipsyncing to Yonce/Partition. Bitch, I was slayed when I saw that in the title of the video. Your lipsync was really good! One of my favorites from you ever. Only thing I didn’t like was the actual recording itself! Whoever filmed that needs to be fired tbh. Great job on the lipsync though. For your look in this category, I think it was okay. I really am NOT fond of that hair! I loved in the lipsync before you partition where you had that longer hair on. It was more of you as a queen and did you more justice. For the outfit, you very much looked like yourself, though, which I am glad about. I loved what you were wearing. It all went together for me. For the makeup, you look great. I love those bitch brows on you! Gorgeous. The eyes look good as well. You did pretty strong in this category.
Homely: I really enjoyed your lipsync tbh. I wasn’t surprised by the song choice, but you really worked every inch of that stage. This look is underwhelming for me. I’ve seen you look much better. I think it’s the short hair that’s killing it for me. Your makeup looks amazing in the full body shots, then up close not so much. Maybe it’s the lighting, but it almost looks like you went back to your old style of contouring. Other than that, I’m living for your eyebrows and outfit. Mya sure does love her jackets, doesn’t she? I have really enjoyed seeing you grow throughout the competition and I love My Asshole.
Lacy: Mya Soul is in da HOUSE! YAS BITCH! This is exactly the type of look I expected to see from you, and I’m not mad at it. Unlike your two other paint jobs, THIS is what the culmination of eleven weeks of TDR looks like. This is by far the most gorgeous paint you submitted to us this week. The only thing I’m not loving about it is the arch of the brows, but hey, if you were going for high-arch bitch brows as your aesthetic, you do you, babe. You look gorgeous regardless. I also wish you had worn the longer wig you wore in you performance in these pictures because I’m also really not a fan of this Kate Gosselin hair. Again though, this is your personal aesthetic and I don’t have to get it if that’s what you’re going for ;) As for your outfit, I LOVE the top. Mya Soul has a great body, and I’m always happy when you find a way to show that off. You’re definitely a sex vixen and it will work well for you, especially with what I know of the New Jersey scene. I really love that you have your signature gloves, but I would encourage you to buy/make them in different colors as well1! That would really help to elevate some of your looks and would be a smart way to start branding yourself. And gorl, I see you casually sporting those Louboutins ya bitch ;) As for your lip sync, all I have to say is YAAAAASSSSSSS! YOU DID PARTITION! I LOVE IT. I selfishly want to slap your boyfriend for being a shaky cameraman, but hey, it just means your performance was giving him life – and you were giving me life as well! Get those tips! You did the best job of all of your sisters of injecting your signature personality into your performance. Your faces SLAYED me and your interaction with the crowd was fun to watch. It was really a smart idea for you to shoot your performance live because I got to see my baby in action :) And you know what, that ugly Kate Gosselin wig looks good on stage ;) I want nothing more than to have a night out with Mya Soul so we should really make an effort to make this happen! You (and Fever) seem like a hoot and I would love to party with you two sometime! <3
Tatiana Mendez
Pierretta: Honestly, I was shocked to see this look coming from you for this challenge! It’s unlike anything we’ve seen from you before so I was surprised that it would be your personal style after we all had you pegged as the over-the-top ballgown costume queen, but it was also refreshing to see this new side from you! I see that your signature eye makeup is in play, and I love that you did dark or pigmented lips for all of your finale looks because I like them so much better on you than the nude lips we saw last week. The hair and dress are gorgeous as well, and somehow feel both effortless and high fashion, which is hard to do. The only thing I don’t like about this outfit is the rasta headband and wrist cuff, because the rest of this look is so muted and earthy that the bright colors of the flag stand out and clash with everything else. While I liked your look, your lipsync was what truly won me over in this category because it absolutely SLAYED. When I first started watching I was thinking that your performance was flawlessly on point but the song wasn’t particularly captivating, but then it got to the breakdown part in the middle and I was totally gagged. I didn’t expect that at all! It was such an interesting choice of song to perform to, and you did an amazing job with it. I’ve been in awe of your lipsyncing skills throughout the competition, but this one definitely takes the cake. You came into this competition strong and finished strong, and with all your talents you are truly a drag force to be reckoned with!
Nicole: AHHHHH!!!! This is my FAVORITE LOOK. You look absolutely GORGEOUS I can’t even believe. I love that hair, love the outfit, and I LOVE the makeup. I cannot even believe you look so amazing here. I will say though I dont entirely think this is your personal drag style, but I think it was smart of you to do that. We have been telling you to switch it up for weeks, and you have listened! Love this look from you ugh. One of my favorite looks you gave us from your entire cycle. For your lipsync, bitch I CANNOT even. Your lipsync was EVERYTHING! That song choice was perfect. I have literally never heard that song in my life, but I am blown away by how well you performed it. I AM IN LOVE with this category so much from you. Overall, I am dead. You SLAYED me.
Homely: At first I was confused. Then I was floored. Then I was content. Upon first glance this looks too different to be your personal drag. Because your personal drag is supposed to be YOU. Your drag persona however you want her to be. But then it all clicked. This look pulls together Tatiana Mendez perfectly. The makeup is all of your signatures together. And the song choice really matched your personality perfectly. And might I say to the fans- if you didn’t watch Tati’s lipsync, go do it now. All I wanted from this look was some killer stilettos, but I’m not even mad at it. I think that hair is really beautiful, and nothing we’ve seen from you so far in the competition. I like dark lips on you a lot. Overall, I’m just as in love with you now as I was when you first auditioned for Tumblr’s Drag Race. If the other judges hadn’t of voted for you to get on the competition, I was going to use my judge’s save on you. But I didn’t need it. You won everyone over.
Lacy: TATIANA MENDEZ YOU STOP! YOU STOP RIGHT NOW! THIS IS HOW YOU SHOW VERSATILITY! I LOVE THIS LOOK SO MUCH! Quite honestly, I’m gonna have a hard time critiquing this look because I love it so god damn much. You look INCREDIBLE. This paint is very traditional Tati and you look absolutely stunning. I particularly love the smiling shot because it warms my heart to see my baby so happy <3 Then we get to the dress and I LOVE it. Whoever designed that dress should use that first body shot to advertise it because quite honestly, I want it in every color. Your shape is right. Your legs look great. I love it. I LOVE IT. I’m done. No critiques for you. This look is it. You did the damn thing. Amazing job. Then we get to your lip sync, and for the first third of the performance I was like “okay, it’s cute, it’s on point,” but then we get to the middle third and you SLAYED MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE! I was literally throwing every imaginary dollar I had in your direction. You were HILARIOUS! I had no idea you had it in you! I’m so very impressed. You made me laugh the most, and I would’ve cheered for you at the end of the night to win based on that performance alone. Kudos to you, Tati. You really did a *stellar* job. <3
Okay i'm confused on just one thing. With the monologue are we saying the monologue our selves, or are we lipsyncing to a speaking monologue, or is it which ever you choose?
Thanks for asking! For the monologue, you are supposed to just pick a script and recite it, so we get more of a sense of your acting ability, not just lipsyncing again.xoxo Nicole
