Jour 4 - le tableau de visualisation

Aujourd'hui je créé mon propre tableau de Visualisation. Je ne sais pas encore si je vais le faire sur papier ou via un support (comme Pinterest).

J'ai déjà établi mes objectifs avec plan d'action détaillé, maintenant il ne reste plus qu'à faire ce tableau car c'est vraiment la partie la plus difficile du MM selon moi.

Do unto others (or How I realized it’s wrong to hit myself)

So I was thinking to myself today, like...why do I have such high expectations of and impatience towards others? And why am I nastiest to the people closest to me? I’m driving them away!

And then it hit me, both figuratively and literally... 

It’s not that we should treat others as we do ourselves... it’s that 

WE DO TREAT OTHERS AS WE TREAT OURSELVES. 

Especially those closest to us - because those are the people we see as being “part of ourselves”. How we treat others is a mirror of the love or hate we hold towards ourselves.

But what gives me the right to be so cruel and unforgiving to myself? To literally abuse myself? The fact that I violate one person - me or otherwise - is already me saying it’s OK to transgress against somebody.

So maybe instead of worrying about pretenses around strangers to hide my shame, I should start realizing that I, too, am one of these strangers worthy of my own respect and understanding and forgiveness.

Because ultimately, being kinder to myself will make the world a kinder place. How can I be kind to anybody in difficult times if I’m not kind with my first-hand experience of a body - myself?
