Just a few paragraphs of Prom from my OC's perspective.

I watched silently as kids milled into the school. My cloak flapped in the wind, partially revealing my silver tech suit.
"How oblivious they are." I spoke distastefully as if regarding something disgusting.
"That's rich coming from you. You were oblivious for many years as well." I looked at Fly blankly, "You act as if you weren't fooled as well. Though in truth I'm disappointed in myself for not seeing it sooner. I mean, how in the world did I twist children experiments into something worth fighting for." Fly slung his arm around my shoulder pulling down my hood bringing me closer to him before giving me a quick peck on the cheek.
"Well if you hadn't I wouldn't have ever met you," He then whispered in my ear, his breath slightly tickling my neck. "And I think we're both grateful for that."
I let out a soft, huff. "Yea whatever." I looked at his pouty face. "Well that's not very nice." I rolled my eyes, my posture deflating. "I'm kidding."
He grabbed my chin turning my face towards his pouty expression. "I know your joking voice and that wasn't it." I turned away from him mumbling my apology. "What was that." He called in a sing-song voice. "I'm sorry." I said a bit louder so that it was audible, blushing slightly.
"Well," He spoke in a sort of neutral voice with a melancholy undertone. "You weren't raised any better, so I shouldn't expect better."
I turned around back towards the party sitting on the edge of the building. "Yea, I guess so." I spoke sadly, my hand wandering its way up to the small spider web shaped scar that rested behind my ear. Micah, in an unhidden attempt to get my mind away from that dark place spoke once more before I could continue. "You gonna crash the party?" I gave that a moment of thought, to be honest I wasn't sure, I had gone in thinking I would figure it out once I was here. So as you might expect it took me a hot second to figure it out. I thought back to my childhood, or better yet my lack of one. That's where I found my answer.
"No," Micah looked surprised at this but I didn't waver. "I didn't have a childhood, in fact I didn't have much of a life until I died." I made air quotes with my fingers at this causing Micah to produce a bigger laugh. "I want it to be different for them, this is one of the only nights they get out of doing work. I'll do something small after the party is done. Make it cryptic or something, don't you have guard duty?"
Micah turned away clearly caught in the act of violating direct orders. "Ehh I did it all the time and Grayson didn't give a shit."
"Well then, it's probably time to get going," He said as his green iridescent wings unfurled from his back and his helmet reformed. The flight visor coming down over his eyes. "One more kiss before I go?" I gave him an annoyed look but decided to give him what he wanted. I pulled him close embracing him for a few seconds before moving to his ears and whispering into it. "Stay safe, you smart-ass." I gave him another quick peck before stepping back and gesturing in an 'after you' motion.
Micah stepped to the edge, gave a solute, and fell sideways off the edge. Instantly the air was filled with a slight buzz as a green flash zipped toward the school. I turned and walked away, unclipping my cloak letting it fly out into the wind. My mask activated as I pulled up my hood.
I have a lot of sketches of Kailani and Greg, but this lazy one is the latest I did!
Most likely Greg dosent know about Kailani's feelings, cause he's just so nice that he just assumes Kailani is the same. And even though she is to a extent, she has a MUCH shorter fuse than Greg does
Its not too often that Kailani crashes out, but when she does it's quite destructive
I imagine Greg and Kailani got close partially through Grayson and Kailani's dad. I imagine Kailani's dad was a head scientist, so him and Grayson had meetings a lot, and just brought Greg and Kailani along to make them pass the time
Most likely Greg is one of the few people that are allowed to call Kailani by 'Kai' or 'Lani', as Kailani dosent like nicknames, and only allows her closest friends and people to use nick names for her.
This doesn't just extend to Greg. This also applies to Grayson. Grayson is probably close enough to Kailani for him to call her 'Lani' or 'Miss Lani' and Kailani wouldn't argue.
(That's also partially why it takes Kailani so long to turn against gunntech, because she has a more personal connection to Greg, causing Grayson to make her more loyal to him by association)
Later than a lot of peoples Pride posts but it’s Pride all month so it’s here now!
I am so out of practice with drawing. I genuinely haven’t drawn anything since January (other than some small simple sketches when I was bored at work).
I’m happy bring Nox back into the fold. I love them so much so I was happy to draw them again.
I’m just now realizing both of my pride posts have had Asexual representation. Like Kit Nox is Asexual. While Kit is Aroace, Nox is not. They haven’t put a label on their romantic attraction but they do experience it.
I have a tradition of starting my sketchbooks off with a piece incorporating song lyrics, this one has Easier and Safe Ship Harboured by the crane wives
Don’t look too closely at any detail I drew most of this today and while on a bus so it’s a bit of a mess
Also the yellow patches of color were actually supposed to be grey but the watered down ink mixed with the cheap water based pens and made a bit of a mess
This is so sick! I can't even describe how much I love this.
The way that Kit's hair is flowing across the page. The way the bandages almost look like they're growing and expanding out of Kore! The duos placement on the page is just so good. The composition of the piece is fantastic.
I love these songs (but you already knew that). They are some of the most central songs in my Kit playlist. We'd already talked about how Verse 1 is Kit and Verse 2 is Kore in Easier (which I don't believe I expanded on when I told you that but I so could). But I think in this piece Easier is Kore's song because overall it's definitely more Kore's song than Kit's because the chorus speaks more to her narrative. She is the one who takes the chance to be someplace else in the hopes that it will be better. She is the one that has to wonder if she were someone else would it be easier because Kit seems to have an easier time accepting the way they live. Plus with the bridge she is the one who learned to lie, she lies to her superiors in Gunntech and even to Kit (at least by omission). She's learned to grow in this hostile environment. She held it for awhile but unlike Kit she learned how to let it go. She's taken and she's kept what she could. And she's the one who has to learn how to sleep with her guilt and with all that she's gone through. She wants to be able to come to terms with everything
But I will say that the Outro is a part of the song that's very Kit to me. She doesn't make any plans to escape or take down Gunntech because it is all that she has. Everything that was done to her it's still where almost all of her childhood memories happened. All she has to hold onto is the belief that the good out ways the bad, that things are getting better. Because every generation there's less complications with the process.
It's also pretty obvious that Safe Ship Harbored is the Kit song. I mean it's what I named her fic after. She's the one who's securely anchored to Gunntech. She's been thoroughly worn down so that she trusts in Gunntech. She doesn't aim for the ocean beyond, just what she knows and what she's told. She's the one who let Kore down by being unable to sail away. She let the faith fall.
I honestly kind of really like the effect of the yellow. I think it stands out really nicely and draws the eyes attention.

I'm glad you like it, the whole concept of the drawing was inspired by your piece with Kit in her cell with her hair around her, then came the rest
Oh yeah absolutely to all of that, these songs sit firmly in their playlist and has no intention of leaving. Though with the safe ship, I wonder if Kore wore her down too, not only with her arguments, but also with how she made sure Kit had a friend, an anchor if you will, at GT.

aside form being married to Alina, she is also a daughter of a GunnTech scientist who later helped Alina escape the company, which did result in May loosing said mother .

Despite GunnTech having a surprisingly loose policy when it comes to their scientists bringing their kids to work, looking at you Elodie, May's mother kept her as far from the Company as she could, as if to shield her from it, make the company forget she even existed.
This, however, did not stop May from looking up to her mother and she invested her time into med school, slowly making her way up to one day become a nurse.
After overhearing a frantic phone call her mother had with another scientist about helping Alina fake her death, May volunteered to help with it.
In the safe house, May aided in the initial bringing Alina back from the brink of death, and was present when she woke up.
The two did have something of a rocky start, May being particularly annoyed at Alina’s loud nature and the younger woman being annoyed back in turn at May’s no-nonsense attitude. It wasn’t long lived though, as they did end up growing closer together in the time that May was spending at the safehouse.
The developing friendship and budding feelings were however interrupted by the news of May’s mother’s death. A car accident, the person on the phone said, she didn’t even make it to the hospital. But it was obvious that it was no accident. After all, one doesn’t leave GunnTech in anything other than a coffin.
A few tense weeks passed, during which May tried to put as much distance between herself and the reason for her mother’s death while the other people involved lay low to avoid Gunn’s attention. During that time, the two felt like the only thing left in the world for each other, and pressed by necessity they begun venturing out into the suburbs to buy groceries and such.
Their outings were risky, yes, but allowed a much needed break from awkward silence and reminders of a life lost. That and they let Alina get reacquainted with society after years of herodom and a significant memory loss.
Maybe that’s why, even after things died down and one other person involved could come take over, May didn’t leave but instead made her home in the safehouse.
I’m not exactly sure how much time passed until they acknowledged the feelings they had for each other, and even less sure about when they got married, but I do know that May didn’t hesitate to say yes when proposed to, and fussed over the little details during the ceremony and a small party afterwards.
Either way, you know the drill, she is now the tea-loving health consultant and enjoyer of flowery dresses, living in a safehouse with her wife.
Yes I absolutely stole the pattern from MEDICINE, I can’t help it they make such beautiful dresses
Anyways, I’m back! I’ll try to post some more gt stuff soon( I bought a whole sketchbook to draw GunnTech stuff I’m DETERMINED) but I did have to fight my MHA hyperfixation to get this one done and the only reason why I did is because I need it for ArtFight… which is probably also the reason I will be somewhat absent still as I also need to draw as many refs as possible before it begins so yeah. But feel free to ask questions about her and anything else.
I already loved her from what I knew before but it is even more now. She’s so cute! I love her style.
Her backstory is so fun. I love a parent who is solidly good in the Gunntech AU. So many of them are bad parents or at the very least make some dubious decisions. But May and her mom are such good people and I am happy they have a good relationship.
Their relationship is so sweet. It’s fun to see how it developed. How their personalities clash right away but they grow close.
Happy Pride month! I have not been very active on Tumblr. Will see if I can get back into the swing of it now

they(scientists with Stratt amongst them I think) find that a collider is doing weird things and might destroy the Earth so they send spider-Grace to find out what happened cause it SEEMS to have something to do with the spider that bit him in the labs, he knows the most about it so thats why they’re sending him, and there he meets spider-rocky who is exactly the same except now he can also shoot webs I guess and together they find the way to stop the end of the world but Grace has to stay behind on Erid(muliteverse shenanigans right) and I guess Simon is also a spider and he’s just kinda there, maybe the blood ocean had weird magnetic stuff going on so it sucked him in as well and he also had to stay behind on Erid(which is fine by him)

Mr. Gunn took most of his anger out on Nori since they did the most damage to his company during the series and prior. They’re now a winter-soldier figure, having been trained out of any feeling over their own.
Connor, Greg and Amaya have kind of accepted their lives (during the AU I suppose they’d find the will to take Gunn down again.)
Romeo still works for GunnTech (well, he couldn’t quit if he wanted to, he’s almost as much of a prisoner as they are), but he’s extremely regretful of his childhood and teen years. He’s no longer so antagonistic of the team, and even Connor tolerates him since they’re both in a worse situation.
Luna has the ‘best’ of it. She was never crushed and was always figuring out a plan to escape. However, it nearly cost her life and probably did cost her a limb. Now she’s in hiding, trying to figure out some way to take down Gunn. Only, his company’s even bigger now. Massive as Amazon. How do you take Amazon down?
